I think the slide in value has to start soon. Age and mileage creeps up and value will slip in line. I don't think it will drop off a cliff, but I do think we will see depreciation start to happen more noticeably than in recent months.
Compared to the standard or S cars, I would expect the GTS will depreciate at a much slower rate - but they cannot stay strong forever.
That's my gut, anyway.

The 981 GTS will stay strong as it's the last of a line. I think it will track 981 GT4 prices and sit around £20k lower on average. The 718 GT4 will drop 981 GT4 prices a little lower than they are now, with the GTS following suit. I also think they will be slightly affected downwards by 718 GTS prices for those who want a daily driver. Bottom line, as said above, they'll drop but not through the floor. Maybe to an average of £50k rather than £60k?
All in my opinion of course!

For anyone interested, Ive uploaded a list of options and prices for the 981 Cayman/Boxster GTS, at:
Its copied mainly from the Porsche configurator, which I assume will stop working one day.
I'm still looking for a manual Cayman/Boxster GTS (preferably in Agate Grey or GT Silver) if anyone is thinking of selling!

Thought I would just ease your pain while you're looking for 981 ! Might even help you in deciding what mags you want ?
Here is mine in Gt silver / 6 speed.
I absolutely love it !
Good luck with your hunting !
It's been a while since I've given the GTS a good scrub and detail but ive spent most of the weekend cleaning. I am quiet happy with the results.
I'm still not sure if I am going to trade to up a 991.2 GTS at the moment, even though I've still not driven one. However, one thing I can say about this car at high RPM she properly sings, the sound its very intoxicating.

That's pretty much spot on...I wouldn't be in any rush to sell.I'm still not sure if I am going to trade to up a 991.2 GTS at the moment, even though I've still not driven one. However, one thing I can say about this car at high RPM she properly sings, the sound its very intoxicating.
I've driven an Elise 111r and Exige S over the weekend as I need some cash out of the GTS for a year for a new venture but they just don't feel the anywhere near like what I have become accustomed too. The GTS is just fantastic. So mine goes as a private sale then i will let it go but go 2.7 Boxster or Cayman and play about with it, if not it stays - These cars are just too much fun, they tick all the right boxes, and are the last of the best imo, so im happy for mine to stay around for aslong as it needs too lol.

That's classed as a white? Looks the business. I thought it might have been crayon - just looking that way in pics. Just goes to show!
Yes, it's a metallic white. It's a very bright white but it was a bit cloudy yesterday. It has a real pop in direct sunlight with a lovely blue hue. Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
