West London do seem to price their cars to sell quickly. They had my 981 Cayman S a month ago, which was 2014, 18K miles, high-spec, priced for £43K. I was expecting them to put it on the forecourt for £45K to £46K. It lasted a day before it was sold!

I think based on their location they have the luxury of volume throughput, so can afford to have lower margins.

Probably 'collectors'.

Viper Green will be desirable, and the flat-6 NA 3.4 engine, but not convinced that the rest of the spec is particularly stand out.

I see the one at Brookfields has gone as well - the 2015 with bucket seats.

Guys I have a question - I've just bought a 981 GTS and am loving it! I am looking to retrofit the parking sensors. Porsche has advised that they can't do it and I will need to go to a third party i.e Autoaudio in Wembley to do it.

They did say though, I will not be able to extend the Porsche warranty if I choose to do that but it doesn't invalidate the warranty whatsoever.

It will cost about £750.00 to have the sensors fitted.

My questions is should i extend the Porsche Warranty before I have them fitted, in the event I choose to sell the car in a year or two?

Great looking car !
I wonder why parking sensors weren’t included from new...?
I did get the extended warranty due to a fright with my PDK, but it’s an expensive insurance overall imo.
I would suggest that if you do decide to extend the warranty before retrofitting the sensors, that you get confirmation in writting from your OPC that this will not invalidate the extended warranty.
Good luck !

Congratulations on getting this stunning driver’s car!

This means that there are only six 981 GTSs for sale in the Porsche network.....but seven 718 GTSs!

Interesting, eh?

Some people, like me. don't like parking sensors. Our driveway fits several cars, but only if you park tight to a hedge or a wall or another car and if you are in a car with parking sensors it sounds like a monkey has been let loose on a xylophone.

+1 = Fair comment. Sensors can also fail; can tell from a bad experience reversing a Macan into a low wall...
Cameras are probably best. My good ol 10th anniversary limited edition Prius had one as standard.. wink

Was in a different car this morning - the comment re the Xylophone made me lol this morning!!

The guys at the Belfast OPC made a very good point to me - please my man, surely you don't need parking sensors to drive this?!?!

Well. good job they're designed as parking sensors, not driving sensors, so they are.

I notice that the OPC list is showing 13 CGTSs - 8 718s and 5 981s. Even though all but one 718 cars are POA, if you sort by price they appear to be put into an order so it may be that an price is stored but not visible.

If that's true, then 981 and 718 prices are overlapping. Ignoring the Viper Green car, three 718s are cheaper than the most expensive 981. The cheapest 981s have at last 13k mileage and I assume the 718s are much less than that.

Once we get a few 718s with higher mileage it will be interesting to look at prices. I'm expecting 981s to hold steady and 718s to drop below them unless the four pot gets more widely accepted...
