I've never SORN mine but maybe I should, as it sits away from November to March/April normally. Last year I did take it out on boxing day as the weather was decent.

SORN and Laid Up Cover (3rd party fire & theft) v Comprehensive for the duration. Not sure all will do the LUC but Mannings will and no issue with no claims period.

Not be using my 718gts over winter but can’t see the point in changing insurance. Just sorn it and keep normal insurance running. Or I’m i missing something?

It's what I do on several summer toys.

The trim on the GT4 wheel is now black!!

Fitting it to the GTS with the new Airbag to night, along with the GT4 Shifter box biggrin

Ta mate, shifter is in and wow it feels so much better!

Id say this is a must for any manual Porsche that doesn't have the GT4 shifter. Its way shorter, sits nice low, feels more direct and mechanical. Didn't this the feel from the box could get much better as a road car, but it just has! Really easy to fit too. It leaves excess leather on the gaiter, but I will be going for an Alcantara gaiter from the GT4 anyways.

The wheel is on too, but last night the airbag wasn't clipping in so I'll take a look tomorrow morning. Wheel looks and feels way nicer, but I'm now not sure about the black trim on it, might move back to Silver.

I'll get some day light pictures tomorrow.

Here are some pics. Been for abit of a drive this morning as the sun is out and these changes just give way more feel, so glad I did them!

Well, after almost 4 years and 8.5k miles I want to sell my CGTS and pick a different car.

Rhodium silver, Buckets, Sport Chassis, GTS interiors, Sat Nav, Alu fuel and pedals, Satin Platinum Wheels, PDK.

What do you think guys is a good trade in price?

In the current market at an OPC? I'd say £45-£48k.

Good spec ! Shame trade in won’t appreciate it as much. Have you thought about a private sale?

Honestly, I would not mind private sale however I am scared to waste time with people that just want to wonder around...

Yes, that is the risk, especially when advertising a Porsche. It’s a shame because it could be a win-win for both seller and buyer. I bought and sold privately in the past and never had a problem, but heard many people that did.

This thread may be interesting for you:

If it wasn’t because I’m lining up for a 718 GT4, and I would need to sell my Boxster S rapidly, I would be interested in talking about a potential purchase of your car with such a lovely spec ! I wish all the best with your sale!
