Just ordered a 718 Cayman GTS to replace my 2016 718 Boxster.
Will be waiting until March to get a manual 'box and hopefully by then Sapphire Blue or a new similar colour is available.
Going to be a long 6months!!
If I had to wait that long I will go mad, last time I bought a brand new Porsche was about 6 years ago...Will be waiting until March to get a manual 'box and hopefully by then Sapphire Blue or a new similar colour is available.

Regarding the recent comments :
I tried buckets briefly on test drives but think there is nothing to beat the Sports Seats Plus with the 18 way adjustment, plenty of support when cornering and the memory is a bonus when family members alter it (my family drive the car occasionally).
Manual v PDK has been done many times and no arguments from me either way. Mine is PDK and I love it, use manual when having fun.
I also love PASM, comfortable on bumpy roads and when cruising around, sports mode is great for fast driving and tracks.
My car also has PTV, not my choice (as bought used) but the handling is fantastic.
I go to Scotland often and love it, great roads everywhere in the northern highlands and loads further south too.
The extra bonus is mine is a BGTS and has the option of open air driving! Having said that the Cayman GTS does at least look great!
You have the wrong gearbox and wrong suspension. Twinfan will agree lol. Your right about the roof, I really enjoy getting my top off, but on Sunday I kept it up, it really is two cars in one!
Good evening all I'm a little late to the Cayman GTS party but have just sold my PDK BGTS with PASM and Sports Plus seats and moved to a younger PDK CGTS with X73, LWB's and PTV lsd and what a machine. I've always admired the shape of the Cayman and together with its more taut feeling and seemingly more willingness to get down the road its a lovely car so 3 years old and with 2000 miles in perfect PPF'd condition I shall be enjoying it for some time to come.
Cheers

Is that the high spec racing yellow one? I've recently bought my first Porsche, a PDK 981 CGTS, after test driving one nearly three years ago!Cheers
Hi,
This is my first post.
I have been driving new 5 series BM’s for the last 15 years normally with 3L diesels but am about to put in an order for a 718 CGTS which will be my first Porsche.
I almost have a spec sorted but the only thing I am unsure about is to go with PASM or SPASM.
I would rather have the car that extra 10mm lower but the car will only be used on the road as a daily and some European tours but a bit unsure how different the ride is.
I am sure this topic has been discussed to death but any opinions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I owned a 718 CS with SPASM, it’s a firm ride but no problem. My current 981 CGTS with X73 is a more crashy ride. This is my first post.
