Just thought I would warn you lot to be carefully if you are bringing your cars over to France anytime soon. The lovely local councils have started to repair some of the side roads etc,and are using chippings!! I have just got back home here to the Loire and have noticed that the bottom of the rear bumper is chipped with loads of little nicks!!!! Really pead off!!!! I thought the quality of Porsche plastic was better than this. I have driven really slowly when I have come across these bloody things. The tar came off easily, but it ain't no fun having to listen to the things hitting your pride and joy everywhere. I went down South, they were there as well.

Sorry to hear that the French have started to use this budget method for road resurfacing. We've had to tolerate it for a number of years here in Britain. It is a complete waste of time and money as it fails to address any potholes/indentations, and within a couple of months is back to its former state of disrepair.
