Greetings....

The sun is out (in case no one had noticed smile) are we going to have a meeting in the Midlands this year?

I have tried this many times, it does not seem to happen :-(
Even a joint R / Spyder meet would be good.

Shame as the evo boys and loads of other makes can get 20 cars no problem.

Porsche owners must be cleaning them or something.

I am taking it to Wilton on the 10th if any others are going.
And might be at Donnington on the 1st in the evening if people want a mini meet and a venue to visit.

I'd love to do one, and happy to travel - but we need to set a date well in advance otherwise weekends get busied up.

Why not extend to invitation to include all Caymans? I love the older cars as much as the new models and would enjoy meeting other owners and discussing all things Cayman..

Ok.

On the assumption you can't please all of the people all off the time, I'm just going to say that I'll be at Chatsworth House (DE45 1PN) on the morning of Saturday 16th August.

It would be lovely to see a few other Porsche owners there.

For info: http://www.chatsworth.org/

Good effort. Sometimes you have to dictate where and when and say take it or leave it. I'd love to come and I'm free, but it's too far north I'm afraid.
When you say "midlands" I think "Birmingham"!

why not go to Wilton house on the 10th :-) I am sure many owners will be there already.

As I've said before, I'd be up for a meet.
However I'm also away on the 10th and 16th.

Would've popped over to Donington tonight but I'm in a courtesy Boxster for the weekend.....

From the beginning of September Sundays are a no go for me as the rugby season starts, so can only do Saturdays.

Donington would be a good central venue to meet. Just planning ahead...

Donnington would suit me nicely, I can do any date between now and the end of September

I would be up for a meet sometime, but there would need to be lots of advanced notice and perhaps something more than a meet and a cuppa. Sat/Sun seeking out driving roads in wales perhaps.

How open to ideas are PEC Silverstone I wonder? A day set up exclusively for 987 Spyders/R's. Meet up, drive the course, food.

I'd be coming from Jersey, so doing something would be expensive and time consuming. Bit of a pain, if I was in the UK I'd be up for meets within 2-3hr travel time.

If there were other like minded owners who wanted a blat around Normandy/Loire/Brittany, that would be even better.
