Who gives a fk, Porsche are marketing a car you can't even fking buy.

They are sold out, what's the point of all the marketing bullst?

Phew, rant over.

Just don't get it. Ignore this post, there are enough threads for angry people who can't give money to
Porsche....

Certainly sounds very focussed - which is what many called out for - but also very compromised for the road, which those wishing to cover significant off track mileage may be less keen on. A back to back with an Exige V6 would be very interesting.

I've just called my OPC and ordered one. I am fourth on the list apparently.

Not sure why the dealer principal wanted me to pay my £10k deposit in cash though. Had to meet him in Tesco's car park at lunchtime. Any ideas?

Does anyone know if any OPCs still have any GT4 availability left?
Thanks!

RHD cars seem to be sold out for now.
Many european OPCs have LHD cars available. Italy, Switzerland, France, Poland, etc...

So will there be a 'GT3RS' style premium on these for people looking to flip them? If so, how much will it cost to get one after launch?

The reports confirm exactly why I don't want one but also why a lot do. The CGTS is the best choice for me.....

Article says.... We turn off stability control and, while we’re at it, hit the Sport and exhaust buttons, too.

Now the twin tailpipes speak up with the rusty voice of the Marlboro Man, and the black box blips the throttle prior to downshifts. Ready to scare the locals?

=====================

Am I reading that right?

What's the point of having a manual gearbox if the car blips the throttle for you on downshifts????

Massive disappointment if that is really what it does!

you have a choice, auto blip works very well, you don't have to have it on.

no one and I mean NO one can threshold brake every bend every time to the max.

So it gives you that extra chance to nail the braking when on track

the 911 CUP cars all fitted auto blippers from 2012 onwards, no one is that good.

you still have 3 pedals and have to change gear, but you can choose auto blip or not , win win in my book, esp chasing down GT3's on track in 2015 ;-)

I thought it was auto-enabled when you hit the sport button, is it a separate switch then?

Yeah but that's where the fun is (for me anyway) getting it right occasionally is SO MUCH MORE rewarding than getting it right every time automatically

Boring! CUP cars are irrelevant, they are chasing lap times and trying to win a race!

I cannot see what else Sports button does so on you get auto blip off you don't

the PSM is the interesting one with more modes than normal.

For those going with PCCB is there the same concerns with regards using them for track driving as there have always been with older GT3's?

If you are going to track your GT4 a lot then I would say go for steels!
