What interior did you go for when spec'ing CGTS or BGTS?
Discussion
Hi Folks,
Have placed a deposit for a CGTS - but long way off before spec lock down - so plenty of time dithering on the Porsche configurator.
I'am leaning towards the GTS interior package because that's what makes it different & probably what others might expect when I come to sell. I love the middle red dial, but really think the red GTS logo on the seat is naff. So, in a little bit of a dilemma. Just wondering what you guys & girls decided on? And whether the consensus is defo go for the GTS interior pack because it is a GTS. I'am probably going for Carrera White exterior.

Unfortunately I'm not in the position to be able to order a new Boxster GTS, but that's not stopped me from playing with the configurator and hoping someone will spec the car I want to pickup in a few years time
I'm not a fan of the alcantara interior... for me it would be full leather with bucket seats and carbon trim. I do agree though, the red dials are a nice touch.
Either way, I wouldn't both with the package, quite expensive for what it is, could specify buckets, or PTV and a few other nice extras.

I wanted and went for the full GTS interior, I love the red stitching on the dash you don't really notice the red rev counter as you're looking at the road and likewise the red GTS logo on the seats you don't notice that when you're in the car. I'm also carrera white with satin wheels.
I picked up a demo GTS and therefor didn't pick mine.
However I live mine, mine has the standard gts interior. So still full leather dash and alcanta ta everywhere else. Then the dealer specced extended leather (does not replace the alcantara) and full carbon package. It looks lovely and still have gts in the headrests just in black.
If I was spec ing it again I wouldn't go for the gts interior. I would just have the standard interior and spec the carbon. Spend the grand saved on getting the buckets

Standard 911 interiors are extremely boring. All black with the standard chrome/alu trim, not even some contrast stitching on sight. Or even worse some have the horrid full beige or red interior, steering wheel included
I have to say I'm ruling out the 911 on that basis (and boring exterior too) and will go Maserati Gransport or another Aston.
GTS package lifts the interior up no end, I would definitely spec it. Would also go for the Porsche crest on the headrest rather than GTS, but it would probably cost an arm and a leg as it would be an "off menu" request.

I also have Carrara white and went for the standard GTS leather / Alacntara interior and chose the interior package painted combined with th centre console trim also in Carrara white. It brightens up the I terror a treat. I also chose the GTS exterior pack and partially painted gloss black Carrera S wheels. This create a harmonious theme of white exterior with gloss black accents paired with the interior which is black with gloss white accents. Picked the car up today and I'm thrilled with the results. GTS interior is ok, but I'm not personally keen on carbon, makes the interior very dark.photos taken at the dealership prior to the car been prepared.Have placed a deposit for a CGTS - but long way off before spec lock down - so plenty of time dithering on the Porsche configurator.

Whether or not you choose the GTS Inteior pack I personally believe it is essential to keep the leather /Alcantara interior, choose the optional full leather and you turn the interior to a standard Boxster S, and you lose the GTSs character and exclusivity. Good luck with whatever you choose!

Like it. Looks great. Kind of agree about the carbon. Can you clear something up for me. if you go leather/alcantara I see can places like door etc is in alcantara & seats look leather. Are the seats fully leather or part leather/alcantara. Really like it.Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
