I ditched jet black for guards red then I see this and may change back
I've only looked critically at jet black metallic in showrooms, but it wasn't as nice as I expected under showroom lighting.Black will rarely look as good as in that heavily processed photo (which does look amazing I have to agree!) so you may as well go all out with flat black I'd have thought?
It looks good but I would be board of that in 1 week.
I still get kids going "nice car" "thumbs up" "rev it", yesterday had 4 girls at the car when I came back to it wanting to chat
it's the Colour which does that imo not that it's an R or a Porsche. It's a bright green shiny sports car.
Some one should have gone Peridot on a GT4 :-)
Take the wing off the silver one and it looks drab, def not a GT car colour.

I've gone GT because I prefer to be a bit more discrete. I'm definitely not a big wing fan, the silver tones it down a bit imho. Silver stands the test of time well on a Porsche too.
There's no right or wrong, we all have different tastes thankfully.
Having said that I'm going against myelf by still considering Guards! Was also considering Signal green at a time.
I once had the red leather interior, I've decided the more outlandish colours tend to 'grate' with me after a while.

So you like the colour of your car because it attracts the attention of children and young girls.......... I still get kids going "nice car" "thumbs up" "rev it", yesterday had 4 girls at the car when I came back to it wanting to chat

Phooey, all the pics from Auto Gespot do make the car look fantastic, but I think they are all tampered with.
I'm going to look at DBM in the flesh again in some better(brighter) light as when I viewed the other evening it looked rather drab and nondescript. Yet, on here, all the DBM GT4 pics have looked fantastic!

Yep, guards/satin is my colour combo. Non-metallic better to polish too. Just debating now on seats - bucket or adaptable?
Well id not consider anything other than LWB but that's me. Have tonight had a complete U turn on colours and submitted Guards with Satin and all the internal trimmings to OPC...They are gonna truly hate me!http://rennlist.com/forums/attachments/gt4/950973d...
