Boxster 981 - rattling doing my head in
Discussion
Hi, wondering if someone can help me. I have a 981 boxter that has something rolling around behind the bulkhead behind the driver seat.
Cornering or accelerating or decelerating and you can hear something rolling around.... initiall I thought a stone or something had been sucked into the air intact or something.
I cant get into see what it is but just about to take it back to the dealer to have a look - its just over a year old....
Any ideas?

Twenty years ago I bought an MG Montego. One owner and a nice example. Soon discovered a worrying Klonk when I took a bend a bit sharpish. Right or left handers .... roll roll roll Clonk!... What's that?!
Later, dropped a pound coin down between the seats and groping around blindly underneath I grabbed ..... a Golf Ball.... Bonus....
Somehow the Golf Ball had entered a strengthened cross member running the full width of the car which supported both front seats. The channel provided a small rollway for the ball to move left or right and gather speed each time hitting the end side sills with a clonk.
No ball no clonk ..
By the way, I found my £1 coin plus three quids worth of other coins..
