So who has ordered their GT4 shirt, does it match the colour of their car or contrast it?

Does anyone know if these will be produced in limited numbers and therefore likely to rise in value? May be interested if so. Thanks

Yes, loads of colours to chose from, wouldn't want to be seen in a Voodoo T shirt myself.

My shirt will only see occasional light use so I'll be going with the PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Buttons), I don't care what anyone says you can feel the difference so to me worth the extra cost.

Well I'm furious. I had a deposit down at my local OPC for a GT4 shirt but the sales director rang me this morning to inform me that I am very unlikely to get the shirt now - aparently I am number 112408 on the waiting list and they have limited allocations.

They offered me the option of moving into a pair of used y-fronts they've just got in, and with the weather turning warmer I am quite tempted by the topless look. What do you think??

Ah it turns my stomach reading this. The common muck, the detritus and swill of society trying to muscle in on our exclusive little clique. No chance old chap, not even if you wage a prolonged brownnose campaign at said opc, not even if you slide a nice fat brown envelope into your sales friends pocket, not even if you promise to buy every single rotten diesel chelsea tractor that dirties there forecourt! NO such queueing nonsense at the opc for me, but I am privy to the secret nod, wink and of course handshake that guarantees I get to flip, sorry I mean enjoy my VERY exclusive t shirt!

If you are going for those Y fronts, I would have them thoroughly inspected first by an independent specialist. They are susceptible to "Bore Score" and others on a well known internet forum have also complained of premature corroding around the exhaust exit. Best to get this fully checked over before purchase.

I have read about these problems but these are Gen.2 Y-fronts so I'm assured that bore scoring isn't an issue. I'm still waiting for photographs and a full spec sheet but apparently they have the Porsche crest on the front. I need to see if it's single or twin exhaust though, as I really think I need a twin.

Even if a gen.2 Porsche logoed Y Front, I would still still be wary of these problems and have them professionally inspected.

Has the previous owner been as meticulous as you would hope in his treatment / mantenance of the pant? Non-OEM / pattern parts used leading to sudden and unexpected fluid egress from the passenger compartment?

Hard use such as application following a Curry Night and upwards of 44 pints of strong lager will also increase wear and tear / general fatigue.

One other thing to check is that the pant has not been put through the wringer (or been 'Nell Mangled' in trade speak).

Quick question - if one was to snip about 10mm off the sleeves and stitch it onto the back, would one achieve more downforce when wearing it on the running track?
Or would it make one fall over when rounding the final bend?

Has anyone come from a Caterham fleece to a GT4 shirt? I'd be interested to know your thoughts on areas such as weight difference, wet / dry handling, turn in(side out), general wearability, shrinkage etc.

Also, which of the two do you think will make you more attractive to women/men in a casual pub type environment?

Sad bds queuing up for these. Are you not aware they aren't using the same material as the race driver's fire suits? You can hardly claim to be wearing a shirt if you're not dripping with sweat.

Neither. You'd be better off in a Ferrari polo mate.
