8-Legs and 91,000+ miles in . . .
Discussion
haven't checked in for a while, so just thought I would say hi :-)
Had the 987 Spyder since Jan 2011 when it had just 900 miles on the clock - last week, it ticked over 91,000 miles and I have loved every single one of them
THE HIGHS
FAST AS FECK! - the handling - the noise - the seats - wind on my scalp - the looks - 30+ mpg - 20,000 servicing - 15,000 on a set of rear tyres - 22,000 on a set of fronts - 80,000 miles on a set of disks, paddle shift - pdk - can fit two bicycles in it - can fit a bicycle and a passenger in it - can fit 12 bags of horse manure in it + passenger - the roof blah blah blah
THE LOWS
one control relay and a slightly rusty set of tail pipe ends
I love it, and it still looks like it did the day I got it - makes me smile and makes any journey an event and still fast as feck!
ta ra for now

BiKES in a Spyder 101 . . .
OPTION A - one bike + passenger + driver = strip bike of wheels, chain, cranks and disconnect handlebars from stem, then insert frame & bars + all your kit in the rear boot and wheels + more kit into the front boot
OPTION B - two bikes + driver = as above except 3 wheels in the front boot, second bike upside down in the passenger seat minus the front wheel with the passenger window open hahahahaha
:-) enjoy!!!
