Just wondering if anyone knew the rev ranges fro the GT4. Historically the GT cars have much higher ranges than the normal cars hence it is unusual to see them above range 1. With the GT4 having the standard Carrera engine are they the same and hence are likely to be hit more with track driving or have they been raised? Certainly in my 997 you could hit RR1 and 2 if you accelerated hard into the hard limiter..?

Anyone know the answer?

they won't be hit more, they are limiters !

so if you hit the limit it will clock a RR

only if you buzz the engine will you get rr 3 or more, so it matters not what the limit or red line is.

The only reason I wanted to clarify is the standard 997 can easily be hit by running into the hard limiter in a lower gear, the GT3 though had a much higher start point so you would have to try very hard just to hit rev range 1 hence most GT3s have almost no hits to RR1 and most normal 911 have alot of hits in RR1 and 2....
