These will be in the 60's in no time.
RS going the same way, sub 200 anytime soon.
Anyone who has paid a big chunk over list had done their bks.
It's one thing to say the RS will beunder 200k, while the GT4 will be in the 60's. The two are completely unconnected. RS going the same way, sub 200 anytime soon.

At 200k the RS is still trading 50k over list and is in competitive territory. At 60, the GT4 has gone under list and would mean GTS and similar competition has tumbled as well. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Who said they were connected ? So what if they're connected or not ..... don't see the relevance. RS will be sub 200k, GT4 will be in the 60's .... and a lot sooner than you think. Dont care how this equates to 'list', doesn't matter.
haha, laughable. GTS's are still in the £60k's, why would the GT4's be there soon.Shazbat said:

Gt4's at 60's sound attractive - your rationale for this?mdianuk said:

991 RS will NEVER drop below £200k and as for GT4's dropping to £60k soon, no way!
Anyway, this is all boring, lets hear about how they drive and where you all have been in them please

Main issue I see is OPC's not being able to advertise GT4's and RS's. The OPC's are very good at maintaining strong prices, so when 30-40 cars become available out of the Porsche network you can only expect the cars to drop. I very much doubt they will hit list - the OPC's will have them back up at 100k before we know it. Now could be the best time to buy..

Thats very possibly Phooey.Ive noticed that very few GT3 991 for sale on the Porsche used site too and all with a few miles last time i looked? Are they not allowed to sell low miles GT3's either even if a few years old?
The 'Turbo' thing interests me too as Ive noticed that 991 GTS' have totally dried up with very few for sale compared to about 2 months ago when there were about 20? Is that the summer thing or a turbo thing?
I currently have a 991 Gen 2 S for a few days to try it out and oh my lord it is unresponsive. Its quick on boost but is a blunt tool compared to the Gen 1 3.8. I am massively disappointed with the engine.
The noise is all whooshing and popping which is a bit embarrassing for an everyday driver and as said, the lag and response from the engine is a real downer. It doesnt feel like a Porsche sports car at all to me, more like a diesel Panamera.
How many decades have they been trying to get rid of turbo lag??
Long live the GT normally aspirated products !

As someone has said, the problem really is Porsche have no competition.
Back in the day, the trackday crew consisted of 996 and 997 GT3s, upstarts in Noble M12s, CSL owners and then the usual Lotus Elise brigade with Honda conversions.
People like McLaren and Ferrari may say they build track day cars, but they don't. They are too expensive and are kept as trinkets. The sad thing is Porsche are creating a similar situation, despite initially releasing cars at relatively low cost.
If it weren't for this, i agree, i'd expect GT3s and GT4s to drop below list price purely because that was the norm before.

The UK is a strange place......
....want a GT4 brand new, no previous owners, from an OPC, for 58k??? There's one sat here looking for an owner. Was the same story with GT3s.
....oh the joys of the Middle East....
