GTS was amazing and felt very quick with pdk, but the GT4 blows it out of the water. The cost to change might seem a lot coming from a GTS, but its the GT4 is undeniably a far more special car. At first, the engine is one of the biggest differences you feel, but after the initial honeymoon period, I now agree it is a slight let down being 'just' a lowly 3.8 from a 911, but hey, its a reasonably lightweight car with bags of traction and plenty of poke.

If it revved a bit higher and the first and second gears were a little shorter so it could be revved out on the road without risking points i think it would be the ultimate car. I'll probably come back to this post in a few years when I can afford an F12 or 675LT and laugh at how naive I was, but for now, I can't really see where to go from the GT4.
I drove F12 and GT4 back to back on Swiss mountain passes last weekend. GT4 more engaging, involving, fun. F12 engine utterly epic.

Yep, mine is going to be driven daily. I'll likely add 10k miles in the next year

But what else would you rather have for 90k? I was looking at AMG GT/RS6s but all too big heavy and powerful and unengaging.

There is just something deeply appealing about the GT4...
That would be my dream if I ever move up to that sort of spend value. Can't say it would concern me in the slightest that I didn't get to sell the car for more than I paid for it if it's at the expense of enjoying using the car. I hope you enjoy every second behind the wheel, including those stuck in traffic!

Liam
Cheers Liam! I certainly will. Road trips already being planned to Europe.

I plan to enjoy the car every single day and get the most out of it.

Picking it up on Tuesday

Did anyone see the other blue car at bolton? That was just under 100k and sold fairly quickly. Incredible spec.

Amazing! Great to hear to GT4 can hold its own against my dream car. ! And what a weekend for you. Which passes did you do? I simply can't wait to get down to the alps next month.
I've never owned a 10 or 12 cylinder car so they are bucket list items!

At the end of the day F12 is a GT car and GT4 is a sports car, so ideally you have both!

We were based in Davos. Did Fluela, Ofenpass, Stelvio, Passo di Foscagno, Julier, Bernina. We were there at a public holiday weekend and roads pretty busy with cyclists, bikers and cars. We did a 5:30 start one morning to get quiet roads which worked well. Rozzers were around but not taking a huge amount of interest - that said if you did fly by one at a rate of knots I suspect you would be in big trouble.

I went home via Stuttgart (lunch at the museum), and overnight at the Ring with a few laps in the morning. Memorable trip - have a great time.

Utterly brilliant - love it.

Makes a great daily driver so far - very "special" feeling car.

My OPC sold one recently that they had previously sold about six months ago. In the interim it had done 16 miles....owner lives 8 miles from the OPC.

That's madness.

In fairness I understand low-ish mileage on cars like this as they are often 2nd/3rd cars and may just be a track or weekend toy. But still, I would expect someone to put a few more than 1,000 miles on in a year. Wouldn't they have theoretically never experienced the car outside of the run in period? Or are people just ripping them from brand new?

Mine is on almost similar mileage, having just reached the 1 year anniversary. Catch 22, buy nice car, work too hard to play! Compounded now by the issue of Gypsies descending on our country park just 100 metres away, meaning my car is back in hiding away from home! I'm sure I'm never going to get to enjoy it fully frown

That sounds like an incredible trip. Rozzers used to be non-existant in Switzerland and 160 km/h was the norm on the Auto Route's....there are now frigging camera's everywhere! I got caught by a speed gun a couple fo years ago...CHF 500 fine for doing 18 km/h over the limit. They have "special fines" that are higher than what the locals pay for foreigners.

Thank you for confirming, was the fire extinguisher optional with the clubsport package?

Just seen a new youtube video, "why my friend sold his GT4" - link below.

As far as I can tell, the answer is: "because he bought on Finance and could not afford it"

uhm. doh.
