Hi WoollyJoe, assuming you are talking about the one in Islington it is in fact guards red! I did chop in the carmine gts for it
Where are you based? Feel free to PM. There are two of us porsche owners within 200m who have become friends off PH and go for drives etc. The Porsche forum doesn't have to be all nasty slagging matches.
Small world. My Gt4 is GR and I live on the SE edge of Islington! Will have to met up for a drive one day.Where are you based? Feel free to PM. Probably a c.£10k premium?
Listed at just under £130k so its 10k premium for someone Yes quite possible we'll see the new 991.2 GT3 RS next year at Geneva but I think you're right about the 4 years with GT products so 2019 would be it if that was the case. Plus we've not seen anything testing which would suggest that March next year is too soon.
Basically 1.5 years until we see anything unveiled so more like 2 years until we see the first ones hitting the road but that is based on it being a normal GT4. If its an RS then we could see something sooner, Frankfurt 2018 perhaps as I have been told that 718 chassis' exist in testing using the new 4 litre GT3 motor.
I would have thought though that they'd release a GT4 before an RS version if both using the new motor. That would mean that if an RS is in the pipeline, it could be at least 2.5 - 3 years away yet with new the GT4 coming first.

A lot of people just want it "NOW" and not 6 months down the line. Stupid I know.
Yeah you're right - I get it - but blimey the depreciation on that will be eye watering and all the more painful if you've paid overs - takes all sorts Apparently, it's footballers especially who have no patience. If they want something, they want it today, and they often make snap decisions. Depreciation is rarely a consideration.

The sequence of releases GT dept have to do, likely mean the car may be announced next year, but doubt we will see any till 2019.
Speculation is for a detuned GT3 engine with choice of PDK or manual. I'm thinking an RS GT4 as the price will have to jump significantly to pay for the engine. Expect it to broach closer to 100 than the 64 of current one. Also suspect Manual will be no cost option too.
I think as a result, prices will be unaffected, especially as all used NA Porsche values are strong.
Fully understand . Just spotted some random "spy shots " earlier today which prompted my questions .Speculation is for a detuned GT3 engine with choice of PDK or manual. Cheers
If a new gt4 is not released next year it will be f4 turbo! From model year 2020( mid 2019) all new Porsches will be turbo/ hybrid even GT products! If a car is seen testing soon then a f6 N/A could be launched at Geneva 2018 along with gt3rs like last time round but if later next year it could be a limited run with 4.0gt3 lump and a price tag to match! So my money is still on a f4 turbo with circa 450hp!

Not that I don't believe you but do you have a link to any info on this?I'm just wondering why Porsche would have just invested millions in a new GT3 power plant to have it effectively scrapped in 2 years.
