Ok so 2D8 Porsche Green or RS Green as it's sometimes called. I much prefer these greens to the lighter acid green / Birch Green types.
i would have gone platinum stitching for sure but it looks epic with platinum wheels and PCCB's. One of the best looking GT4's I have seen.

I was told that the Newcastle GT4 is Viper Green by one of the staff. Not sure which you are referring to with your question, but hope that helps!

As a little aside, I was at Newcastle OPC yesterday and it looked like a red GT4 was in the 'about to be collected' spot in the showroom, Anyone on here? Very nice car.

I have owned 4 PTS green Porsche cars in the past, Porsche Green 2D8 is the real name, but sometimes referred to as Viper or RS green. Lastly, 1 of the 4 was signal green which sometimes looks like Porsche green.

Not wanting to turn this into finance vs cash post, but interested in how people think it is best to fund a Gt4 from an OPC.

Porsche say PCP, which they would, but with good residuals can't help but think I will have huge equity, which is fine if I stay with Porsche but not if I want out at end of term (would have to buy then sell)

Thinking of adding a little at mortgage renewal time to the mortgage at sub 2% APR then buy in cash.

Am I missing something?

If you're worried about cost of ownership/cheapest way to buy the car then traditional HP will be cheaper than PCP without a doubt. Obviously if that HP is effectively through you mortgaging equity out of your house then it will be cheaper still. PCP also only works with a smallish deposit. If you. Say want to put up a 50% deposit it doesn't really work at all.

What might be interesting about PCP is if they quoted what you would expect to be strong residuals, but I suspect they won't do that.

OPC says PCP because that's the biggest earner for them...

Cash - always the cheapest option : especially at sub 2% if paid back at an equivalent term of whatever the other options are
