yep cheapest car for sale I would choose is still £86k unless you want >20k miles or no buckets.

So no change really as it's been £85k for a good spec for months.

Just more cars with 20k miles or very low specs for sale so ave price looks lower.

As the good cars are selling again quite fast it seems the OPC are getting left with poor spec or high miles cars, for £3 to £4k you are not going to buy a 25k miles 3 owner car over a 6k mile 1 owner car imo

The last car to sell at Leicester went for £90k on steels brakes ! a lot of cars don't make it to the sales pages.

GT4 now looks amazing value imo esp up vs a 997 GTS, or 10k more for a 2007 997 30k mile GT3 !
£80k gets you PCM carbon and buckets !

you can see why 6 sold last week. My OPC has sold 4 in the last month alone.

Again Lotus would be a choice but the new GT430Sport is £110k !!! The GT4 has nothing to compare now.

I'm not sure 997 GT3 gen 1's are going up. Lots of them for sale on PH and been hanging around , gem 2 maybe different ,

I agree cars sell "off line" especially GT4's and vs 997 GT3's I definitely they are the better buy although for some the non Mezger is the deal breaker .

Update for you to add some clarify, 2 added (Swindon, Colchester), 3 removed (Glasgow, Solihull, Mayfair). Movement mainly on price down with a few under £80k now. Average price dip to £86005

I agree cars sell "off line" especially GT4's and vs 997 GT3's I definitely they are the better buy although for some the non Mezger is the deal breaker .

When you look at miles 997gt3 have also gone up, before £80k got you a low mile minter now you are looking at higher miles at those prices, gen 2 again up in price, both very slow sellers at these prices mind you, make you wonder what they really sell for.

Gen 2 will always drag up gen 1. It's the 997.2 RS which seem totally dead market.

Cars still moving well it seems. Price average dip looks like it's due to high mileage and low spec cars. I doubt they sell as quickly either making them hang about.

85k still if you want decent mileage and spec.

As regards the Motor Trend video: have seen that guy's Brewster Green GT4 before. Lovely looking car; nice to see it again. That graphite blue does not suit the 718 Cayman S. Regardless I notice how they chose the PDK 718 Cayman S to go up against the manual GT4. I would have the GT4 any day of the week, even after consideration of the price difference. I care more about fun rather than simply 0-62mph or how fast round a track. Not that the GT4 is slow.

The only area the 718 is better than the GT4 is the PCM. Period.

Gt4 cracking car manual or even Pdk if it ever get sold .

Think the manual may be the car of choice though in the same way more ( I think) are opting for manual GT3.

I think Alcantara delete is a mistake and it's missing the extra power lights with PDSL.

I agree though, I do like the feel of the alcantara steering wheel.

Love these cars, such special things. I just hope the new one looks as good as I don't like the look of the 718 as much.

Agree the 718 doesn't look anywhere near as good as the old Cayman to my eyes and they sound awful - that's progress

It's actually easy to revive with a damp cloth. It can get flat but a damp cloth is all it takes. It's pretty hard wearing.

In winter it's warn, in summer it's cool and you don't slip about on it.
If tracked with driving gloves you just stick to the wheel again perfect.

IMO it's add to the feedback and feel of the car.

It's all about having clean hands and hands which don't get clammy, if you don't suffer with clammy hands the wheels are fine.

Again it's personal, but I would say it's as high as a 80/20 split if you asked 100 people what they liked best.

Did a hoon in mine this morning ave mpg on return was 12.3 mpg, was thinking how the **** would I get more from the new GT3, you are hardy on WOT in the GT4 as it was. I think a 430 tune up and the gearing would be amazing in the GT4.

I hope I like the new GT3, it's the engine and lower gearing which has me swayed on paper. But I cannot help thinking the GT4 is prob the better B road blaster and the mid engine layout just works. after my latest geo setup the cars outperforms the size of my balls lol but I do feel the car is under powered for the chassis and tyre size.
