You might need to be quick, they could be heading up again sooner than you think !!

Porsche Centers can access build date or look at ECU coding date via Durametric
tx. unlike u.s cars the built date is not stamped on the chassis.

My car arrived mid December 2015 and registered early January 2016 so I would assume that it was built late November 2015. Therefore one can assume cars would have been built within 2-3 weeks before arrival at dealership.

I did the same in order to get a 2016 reg. at the very earliest it would have been a December 2015 build. Time to check with OPC

Quite possibly and I'd never bet against it .

Any GT4 at list price is where I'd want to be

Not so sure . List was 64k so poorly specced cars were probably no more than 70k
The cheapest I see online are late 70's

yep still nothing exciting below £85k really and that gets you a £75k speced car.

The bottom rung of prices are really now over 20k miles, chairs with no leather.

Thing is a basic spec GT4 is nicer inside than a 996 GT3 or even a 997 GT3 so horses for courses.

All GT4 drive the same, but we all like our leather, PCM etc etc these days, I can use my GT4 day to day no issue it has cruise, xenons, climate, cup holders and looks like a tarts handbag :-)

If you just want the drive and have no Toys for a track hooning car you can pick up something a lot cheaper.

the 10k saved can go into a 430BHP tune and some nice shocks.

List isn't necessarily base without options. List is base with options in my book. As a result there are cars on the locator now at less than list.
The 24k mile white one in Bristol is below list. It would have been about £80k.

Actually edit that, it would have been more like £83k.

If anyone is waiting for them to creep down to below £64000 I have a feeling you might be waiting a while!

I think thats a nice car and attractive price if you plan on keeping it for 5+ years and only doing a a couple of thousand miles a year in it. The mileage would then even out.

Agreed - that would be a good car for someone that actually wants a GT4 for use.

£83k sounds a bit high for a car with no PCCB's or paint extra's I have it about £79k but that's still below list price.

My car has all of that kit and was £74k its not got: CS pack @ £2.8k , lap timer £900, Carbon sills £750, light design pack £320. So it looks like a £78.7k car unless I am missing something.

It's a great looking car, actually very similar to mine;)

I think this winter will be the time to buy a GT4 and those that don't and really want one might regret holding off.
The new one will be revealed at some point next year and used, will be fetching same situation over list which if anything will strengthen the Gen 1 cars.

I don't know if anyone has actually noticed but there are 29 GT4's that i would consider to be genuine ads on PH at the moment. This is down from well over 50 about 6-8 months ago. The Porsche locator now has 16 cars as against the previous 20 something. Obviously the less cars there are for sale the less choice in terms of spec. They seem to be finding genuine owners now.

A well spec'd 718S, how much? £65k - 70k for a 4 pot turbo... GT4 any day!

My car was 79k on the road and it was the same spec but didn't have carbon illuminated sills, light pack or Carbon interior.
Carbon interior was a grand alone so thats a plus 80k car.

When you say "they" - it's a little misleading. One very high mileage car (for age) is below list and all others above.

No, this one is also below list http://locator.porsche.com/ipl-customer/ipl/detail...

I dare say that a couple o grand off that is also achievable making it good value.
