Thank you Tom but Camskill are cheaper.

£245 for the fronts
£281 for the rears

Total £1057.

Saving £141
I checked out Camskill's prices for my Porsches today as my Cayenne is due for new Tyres all round..While i was there i compared the prices for the Dunlops Sport Maxx Race 2's N1 for my new GT3 and they were circa £316 inc VAT for the rear tyre.In comparison the equivalent Michelins Cup 2 N1 was similar at £315 inc VAT.
I checked the same tyres about two months ago on Camskill and the same Dunlop tyre was £485 inc VAT..Have they really dropped by £170 per tyre or am i losing my mind..??!!.
Can anybody shed some light on this..?

Nice, forums are funny places to play this game and it makes you look bad imo.

I loved my GT4 but I was open about it and always said my GT4 was my Track or posers car the R was my drivers car.

Nice. You provoke an argument and then go soft when people rise to the bait.

I hope your GT3 will not disappoint you, ...

Not arguing with any one, or have gone soft, I don't think name calling is acceptable on forums. post a view, have a heated debate all well and good, move that onto personal abuse and that’s a whole new ball game and shows people true colours.

Except that you suggest that the GT4 unless used on the track is for posers ?

Of course your GT3 will not be a posers car ... but I'll bet it won't get much track use .... as your GT4 didn't.

How can a person offer such useful information in one breath, and be so provocative in the next ?

It just makes me want to, politely, turn-off.

Seems My GT3 owners ship is bringing out the worst in some forum members for a few people to keep bringing it up already !

I was honest about the GT4 and stated it was MY posers car or track car nothing more, I said this a year a go, it's nothing new I am saying now it's gone. The R for me is far more rewarding and fun to drive on the road with 3x the feed back. The GT4 a far better track tool.
In fact I did not use the GT4 bar one small trip after August 2017, They were not the keys I went for. I could have part ex the R for the GT3 but I choose the GT4 as the part ex, my OPC asked for either car to get the slot.

As for the sly dig, well you think what you want to, I am not a rich guy as you know and spread my funds on my hobby over trackdays, Welsh trips, Euro hoons and SCD club meets, plus the odd classic event and race meet, the rest of my time is spent with my loving other half who already thinks I do too many car related events as is. A track day after all is easy £1.5k a time, 3 a year is about my limit. but DO I really have to back up my time with my own cars ?

I will put the post/dig down as a one off out of character post as you are one of the nicest people I come across on meets.

I see Chris @ ABP as just posted in the R thread having swapped his GT4 for an R ;-)

PS I will also pose in the GT3, not ashamed to admit it.

Nope, you're on the money here John. They were much more expensive before Xmas and they have dropped that much...

I think you'll find you were extremely rude about me personally a couple of years ago on this forum regarding an issue I had with a GT3, so as far as I'm concerned you are a little worm who I look forward to meeting in person one day.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but did I read somewhere that there's a new Cup Sport 2 on its way this year?

Not that I am aware but you find Michelin (and all tyre manufacturers) will constantly upgrade and tweak their tyres. Their was lots of images recently of the Cup 2 tyres fitted to the new AMG GTR and they had noticeably less tread from new than any Cup 2 I've seen or used before.

Thank you Chris that may have been where I was getting my lack of information from. Appreciated

I'm not in desperate need of new tyres but was tempted to get some new cupsport 2's as they're on sale. I'm now looking at ps4s and wondering if they're comparable (just asked the same question in the ps4s thread sorry)

A couple of years ago? Really?

Now you want to meet him in person, what are you going to do, beat him up,
dominate the trackday, or throw a red bull at him.

Stop embarrassing your self.

Nice vid. The dude can drive and whilst at times shows good etiquette and respect doesn’t half get close on occasions. Lots of people behaving themselves on the ring too which is good to see at these closing speeds.

The Lambo appears in another video and he turns it up a notch - perhaps a different driver.

GT4 sounds lovely and very race car. Amazing grip and balance.

I thought my 981GTS sounded good with the top down but this is really ‘zingy’ if that makes sense.

Sorry i think he drives on an open track in a dangerous way. Far too close to other cars, overtaking on the outside of people mid bend. He would have been black flagged on a well run track day.

I've watched enough ring vids to know most fast drivers do this here... It gets so busy that you'd never make progress otherwise. He does get a bit too close though sometimes i do agree...

its not a track day, its a public day...
trackways at the ring are far calmer, safer affairs.
