Don't think you can. But think I saw on here you can have SportChrono retro-fitted (about £1200?). Or I you could use Harry's Lap Timer with a box of tricks that plugs into the diagnostic port and feeds all the data in for revs, gear, g, throttle and brake postions, steering angle, wheel slip, etc. This would be a lot cheaper, although have more wires hanging out of the dashboard.
£1200 probably buys you a very nice VBox system.

Revs, G yes via OBD port but most others require Cambus feed£1200 probably buys you a very nice VBox system.

TX. a brand new E46 m3 engine would cost about 8k so 12k for the porsche unit sounds about right.
Just to be clear, that is a 3.8L exchanged for a 3.8L.I was going from a 3.4L to a 3.8L so no credit for 3.4L engine, double cost for purchase without exchange engine.
The USA is the only territory where Porsche give a credit for a 2.7L or 3.4L engine against a new 3.8L engine, and oddly, the 2.7L credit is more than the 3.4L credit.
One CGTS owner who wanted a 3.8L installed by BGB Motorsports was surprised at the differential and "“.. did what any (un) reasonable car guy would do; went looking for a 2.7L donor car.. " and bought a 2.7L Boxster for his wife, then exchanged that engine for a crate 3.8L and installed the 3.4L in his wife's Boxster....

Lovely thing, only reason for sale is looking for more of a GT car than a track weapon
I had a GT4 then went for a 991.2 GTS then back to another GT4 so says alot about how good they are...

Why aren’t you selling it privately?
Because most buyers want trade price and are a bit thick, sellers get more return from a dealer most of the time for less hassle on a SOR.I hate sor though , no money and no car but it does return more that a private sale and no hassle. Strange thing selling cars private these days. also if you fail to get a sale a lot of dealers won’t take on a car which has been shown to market at £8k less and did not sell.
Hence we see so few private cars these days which is a shame.

I've sold a few Porsches SOR in the past which has resulted in higher prices than i could ever achieve privately with zero hassle.I don't have the patience or inclination to deal with time wasters/tyre kickers.I hate sor though , no money and no car but it does return more that a private sale and no hassle.
