I can’t see dark blue being that popular plus it’s lacking a few select options

Mines still for sale at the dealers since 16th August.

I P\X'd it for a 991.2 GTS and they gave me £75k for it. Its on for about £77k in Newcastle so with the warranty they're making nothing on it probably even a loss.

10k miles but it's a good spec and the second cheapest GT4 in the Porsche UK network.
Similar to mine, sold back to Bolton, mark up was tiny considering the cost of prep and warranty, not sure why they are keen to do that unless its a long term strategy of some sort
On a PX the price the dealer tells you they’ll give you for your old car is only half the story; there’s the nominal price of the new car too. They might have said 75k for your PX but that was in light of the GTS price which did, perhaps, have a nice margin in it for them. The proof of the pudding would be what price they offered for the GT4 as an outright purchase and no related deal; I suspect that would be less that 75 in light of their retail price now.

Been offered 75k and 82k for mine from OP and thats this week
High spec car with just over 4k miles and in showroom condition , so all they would have to do is slap a 2 year warranty on it and roll it off the trailer straight into the showroom

Wow both are great prices considering how many are for sale and the new one is due soon

Was this a px price or out right purchase? Why are you selling up as they are great cars?

I think you are right on the colour, wouldn’t be my choice.

I really don't see anything dramatic happening with prices as they've been so so steady for the last couple of years. Even when the new one finally arrives the ones that get flipped early are likely to be 100K+ so there will be a big gap between a 'used new one' and a 'used original'. We've seen the same happen with the 991.1 and 991.2 GT3s i.e. the 991.1 didn't crash in price when the new one arrived.

Sounds about right, i was offered £77 for mine (8k miles) as outright purchase - perhaps they are really struggling to get stock due to factory closures and just want to move some volume of any kind even at tiny margins

I look at ones like the dark blue one as an outlier that gives prospective buyers hope that all prices are coming down. Then, as others have said, you look at the dull colour and relatively poor spec and see the reason why it's priced low. I'm sure like others I didn't want to have to pay 'overs' for one. The trouble is, that when I took delivery I realized what all the fuss was about and can now see why they're still commanding a premium. I would say to anyone who really wants to own a GT4...just do it! Keep waiting for them to come down in price and you'll only end up with a much older car for a few £K less then they are now and you will have missed out on much driving time in what is a brilliant car. smile

I think the £69k dark blue car has all that's needed to make a great track car it's a big saving and has buckets and leather.
it's not that poor a spec really.

Was looking at getting a GT3 but decided against that for now, but the price was against that and could have got a better deal if you take off the discount that I could get on the GT3.
But them figures are a good indication of what you might get for a GT4 right now at porsche

it has leather and you don't like climate and say AC is fine !

spec not as bad as it looks imo. chrono is pointless on the Gt4 I never speced it new on my £75k car.
Although I had the features turned on and then thought still pointless crap.

best value car for sale imo.

It has the basic placcy dash and door tops....like I said no extended leather.

Yes I specced 'manuel' a/c on both the GT4 and Spyder as they work fine for me but most buyers do want climate also to a lesser degree chrono just for the clock.

Was it a Carrara White one with black wheels by any chance?

What's the story with the '65 8k Red one up at Autovillage for £78K? It's on at least the second round of adverts on eBay.
