Anyone know if 18s fit over pccbs? (for track duty)
TIA.
I looked at getting 18s for track duty but could not find a decent option for the tyre sizes that are needed i.e. couldn't get michelin cup 2s or supersports in the correct sizes. So gave up the idea and bought a set of 19 inch Oz Ultraleggeras for track work and fitted supersports to them.TIA.

PM me mine will be for sale , has the 5 driver focused options plus climate., Buckets, manual ,spyders, pse, SS, Crono, plus BOSE , reverse sensors.
Interesting posts of tyre / wheel sizes, I'm selling my 19" Carrera II S wheels currently on my 987 Gen.2 S because I was told 18" are better for track work, I've gone with OZ Alleggertia which are very light but lack of cup2 s in the correct sizes means I probably going for Yokohama AD08r's instead.
Fwiw I was surprised to find out that the Carrera II S wheels from the Gen 2 Cayman S are about the same weight as the Spyder wheels on an CR, however they are half an inch narrower but wear the same size tyre.

I don't think a 35 profile would cause any issues - 235/40 fronts, 265/35 rears - nice and balanced on the M3, if anything, it'd be a touch harder ride but I'd be happy to try them. We'll see when the time comes...
I ran 265/35/18 Cup 2 rears on my Gen 1 S, and while they worked absolutely fine on road and track, from an aesthetic point of view the reduction in sidewall left a big rear arch-gap, which looked a bit crap ! With the front already very low, the rear needed to be raised a touch to get the correct rake, so there was not much I could do to improve the situation. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and have gone for 19" OZ Ultralegerras with Cup 2s in the correct sizes. It looks much better !

That's what size tyres I use for the Boxster Race car, I will also be using a set of the Boxster Team Dynamics Race wheels and Toyo tyres on the Cayman R for the RS Day in march left4dead said:

Very similar spec to mine except I have the short shift kit and cornering Xenons. I consider both to be nice to have but not essential. It has the right seats, gearbox, exhaust, wheels and sport button. Nice car. The CDR-30 isn't a great headunit - mine has a 3.5mm jack which I connect my phone or bluetooth receiver to for music but I'm not sure if that's standard so may be worth checking if audio is an issue. But the car sounds great so for fast driving I don't listen to music anyway.

yes, it should have silver stickers on that car.
The original owner might have de-optioned them? Or it could have had some paint as part of previous OPC used prep, which is pretty common, especially on higher mileage cars. Not something to worry about IMHO.
I personally prefer cars without script. I didn't replace the ones on the bumper when it was resprayed and will probably lose the ones on the doors at some point, they have picked up a few stone chips over its 60k miles

Looks an excellent spec and good to see manuals attracting a premium.http://www.911virgin.com/porscheforsale/1241/Cayma...

Almost identical to mine, although I have adaptive xenons, which are great for night-time country drives, but they are rare as the proverbial.
Bose, ceramics and leather dash are nice bonuses to have if you can find them.
I am surprised that 911V car hasn't been snapped up, good spec manuals appear only rarely. I'd expect it will be bought soon, as will the RPM car...

Still not put mine up for sale, not sure I can do it ..... got it all cleaned up, spent 4 hours on it, drove it and then did not put an advert up lol
I am sure the PH massive will happily give you permission to keep it I was surprised you were considering selling it TBH given your enthusiasm on here, unless you need to fund something else or have a 1-in-1-out rule (in which case absolutely fair enough). Values likely to be rock solid this year and so free fun even if only for occasional use. There is nothing quite like a CR

High mileage and black...The 911Virgin car is very close to my spec, but I'm holding out for leather and nav.
The badly specced one at Aston Martin has the front bumper stickers on upside down, strangely??? Despite only having 9k miles...
