You will scare a lot of the owners here talking about panting. I just painted my black 981 a different colour because I also find black a bit boring. Cant wait to get it back....
Yeah and I am never sure why, it will be something on the PTS Roster, blues really suit the 987, maybe Viola Metallic, get it done properly by someone reputable, what's the issue? Originality? Pah! Da Original Whyayedee said:
Yawn, most people on these boards seem to be concerned about the day they are going to get out of them from the day they are getting into them.
This is true but the reality is most people dropping circa 40k -50k on a car want some sort of decent return when the time comes to sell and unfortunately, as mentioned a respray in a different colour will put a lot of potential buyers off. Maybe in another 15 years or so as they age and become more of a classic it will be less so but right now while still a 'modern' sports car it would have a big effect on value imo. (Let alone factoring in the cost of the respray!)

Had higher mileage and the CDR30 or whatever its called, rather than PCM3. So it is a different one.
They really do look great in blue I agree.
If anyone is looking for folding buckets this 2.9 was specced with them from new
Could strip them out and punt it back on

For £21k, I think this is a great starting point to build something awesome for the track.Could strip them out and punt it back on

For that kind of project you're better off talking to someone like EMC Motorsport and getting them to do what they do for their race car builds but leave in the creature comforts on any old 3.2A friend of mine has just had one built but also pushed the boat out and had a 3.7litre conversion too.
"rapid" doesn't quite do it justice..

I don't know, think rapid is over selling the larger capacity rebuilds. They aren't particularly impressive on a dyno. Fairly priced…Really?
The black on on CC last week had lower miles and it took two goes at selling at £43.
Obvs the dealer took a detour through “strawberry fields” before arriving at the £58k price.
But comparing it to the ruby one at cridfords - that was £39k, the manual black one in Cardiff is £10k cheaper..
Whilst the colour is nice, it doesn’t have PSE or cruise.
In my mind £48 is OPC money and you’re not getting an OPC experience.
