you better believe it. Sold through a dealer it would be mid 40s i reckon.
it does seem very good value considering the options and upgrades.
On the other hand, have you seen trade in prices for these at the moment?! They bear absolutely no resemblance to the asking prices at all. Well priced in the market but thoughts of strong appreciation in 2023 seem unlikely in the circumstances.

Looks mint condition and has the leather dash - stunning example. Seems cheap considering prices of late.

6 owners who have done on average only 2500 miles each. I've done more in mine this year, and I've hardly had time to drive it! I sort of get low owner cars with low miles, but why did 6 people own this car and yet never bother driving it? spin

If it’d had AC I’d have been posting up pics of my new red CR.
Such an odd spec… why leave off AC ?

6 owners is a troublesome thing too… wouldn’t have entertained it if it wasn’t at an OPC. 6 owners that knew they weren’t in it for the long run and therefore drove it like they stole it?? - that would be and still is my worry when I look at any low Mile high owner car.

I was spoiled when I bought my 993. Last owner for 12 years was a marine engineer - had receipts and notes for EVERYTHING done on the car.
The brand has moved away from targeting enthusiasts as owners, which I get, but for the few of us that are left it makes buying cars that little bit more tricky

Lack of air con on one of these really wouldn’t bother me. The owners would be a bit of concern, but wouldn’t stop me buying it ,if the condition was right. Unfortunately buying from an OPC means any invoices or work outside of the network will have been lost.
I’d be looking at it, if I didn’t already have one.

Where did 6 owners come from. The advert says 3 owners and the attached pictures show that the car has an AC. Is there anything I am missing

Nice one listed today

all the options plus girodiscs - anyone's here?
Now that looks very good value in what appears an honest car.

I was wondering if the owner of this CR is here? I read the advert description with interest as the car has an aftermarket seat bracket and wondered if the owner could advise where in the UK did they buy this from, as I would like to lower my seat a little.

Question, was TPMS (tyre pressure monitoring) standard on the Cayman R, or a cost option?

I can't find a way to view tyre pressures.

My 2012 981 doesn't have this. I think it became European law a couple of years later and then all cars had this standard.

Damn. Any recommendations for an aftermarket TPMS?

Have a guess what I’ve been up to….

I’ve carefully removed (hacked out) dozens, maybe hundreds of corroded fasteners on ships over the years but these were some of the worst/most awkward I’ve ever done.

Pic shows all that remains of 6 pressed in studs and matching nuts - the rest rusted away over the past decade or is now metal dust on my garage floor.

Whoever signed off on this design needs a kick in the balls and I understand why OPC’s & independents charge so much to do the job.

Reminds me of when I replaced the clutch, flywheel and RMS on my 987.1. These were the easy bit, it was the 10 hours I spent dealing with these exhaust studs that made it an utter pig of a job.

About a week later I went to Belgium to have Gert Carnewal fit one of his modified exhausts. He told me it never takes him more than about an hour to remove the studs but he's doing it every day.
