Another one. Missing front stickers, manual gearbox and PSE. Seems reasonable though...

Nothing ever went to 35k bar crazy high miles or a private sale with no AC in yellow once.
I paid £45k for my green one 5 years back and paid £45k for my white one 2 year back, so no £35k cars !
like every thing there is a spread, I thought the10k mile car was good value hence it sold fast as most are used cars you don't find low mileage cars any more :-( or :-) for the owners driving and enjoying them.
the 10k mile R was rare as rocking horse st imo some ones got 3 years free motoring with those low miles adding another 20k will make no odds.
I paid £37.5k from OPC for 10k car in 2015 in the right Spec and then £40k private for the Viper Green 4000mile car in 2016 , which was a bargain . I should have locked that away ....I paid £45k for my green one 5 years back and paid £45k for my white one 2 year back, so no £35k cars !

That car has been around for a while. I remember seeing it in Jan/Feb at Swindon and then it popped up at Cardiff, appear to now be back at Swindon. www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/20180417563...
Would people go for a PDK or stick out for a manual?

Part of me thinks a PDK would be fine, but the rest knows I wouldn't be happy as a manual is what ive got my heart set on...kevs 172 said:

Yes - thats ones been around a while - My resolve almost broke ( Cognitive dissonance convinced me the PDK and colour would be fine ) but I'll hold for manual Would people go for a PDK or stick out for a manual?
Chaps, those of you who track your 'R' what oil are you using please ? Is Millers Nanotech the way to go ?
I track my Gen 2 S a few times a year and change the oil annually, from what I've read the OEM Mobil 1 isn't all that special so wonder if others use a 'better' oil for high temps / track work etc.
Also 911R did you put those Girodiscs on yet ? I am tempted by a set but would like to know if they really worth it.

not put them on yet !!! but Andy races his Boxster in the PCGB series with those so they seem well worth it.I track my Gen 2 S a few times a year and change the oil annually, from what I've read the OEM Mobil 1 isn't all that special so wonder if others use a 'better' oil for high temps / track work etc.

heat is the issue on the 987.2 cars so bigger disks means less heat, mean less fade means no long travel pedal.
if I have to sell the R though, I have all that kit up for sale at a discount :-(

Er, no... For me personally! If you're budget is £35k, go for a proven Cayman S with less miles for £30k ish... Sadly, Cayman Rs are £45k with much lower mileage and provenance ...

ANYBODY THAT SHOUTS IN AN EBAY ADVERT DOESN'T DESERVE A SALEWould take a brave person to pay £35k for that.
I am amazed at how little pre-sale thought and effort some dealers put into their stock, especially when
its a low volume specialist car such as the CR.
I'm not sure the window tints, sport design alloys and sticky tape all over the dash board give the right first impression!
At £25k however, (after an inspection), someone could find themselves owning a reasonable car with a little TLC?!

25k is not its reserve so no one is getting it for that.
Its all wrong imo. Its black, no stickers, wrong gearbox, wrong wheels, wrong seats, unproven history, highish miles for this type of car.
30k at the very tops I think, I still probably wouldnt touch it then, be interesting to watch what happens with it.
