Mr GT2RS was our pace car!
Driven by a local racer and hillclimb champ... i was somewhat outgunned
Was that the Mount Murray you stayed at? I went many years ago with the Dutch Porsche club. The chief Constable gave us a briefing and asked if we wanted the roads closed and the Grandstand pit lane opened and that we should behave ourselves... He was next seen coming round Creg Ny Baa in his Jam Butty Range Rover on the door handles Driven by a local racer and hillclimb champ... i was somewhat outgunned

Currently having THE mother of all de-cluttering sessions. These pair are free to the first current CR owner who PM's me.
I've got the brochure complete with the green / black vinyl case that it came in, didn't get the price list one, though. There were very few of the hard backed brochures around as I remember.

It was the first year that PCGB club ran it (Jeff Ives ) and several hotels around the Island where used inc MM the best on the island ,sadly it burned down no idea if it has been rebuilt .Same situation police very accommodating to help us .must go back one year
Yes that's right it was Jeff Ives and I think my brother Dave organized the Dutch side. Didn't know the MM had burn't down!Regards number of owners, my one has had 5 previous keepers, which initially had me concerned, but it is absolutely mint with 14k miles on the clock, and if I really wanted one in Viper it's the only one, so not like I could wait for another one to come up.
I get the impression it has been owned by a number of wealthy people who change their toys frequently for new shiny things.
I'm planning on keeping it for the long term anyway.
Also cost me a lot more than 42k so maybe the white one is about right price wise.
The low miles white manual car sold in a couple of days recently and was up for 49k and hasn't popped up at a dealers so assume it went from private buyer to private buyer?

If its got the buckets I think its a fair price for a 1 owner manual car with 2 year OPC warranty even with its slightly higher (for some) mileage.
As I said a few pages ago - find me another manual car with the right bits of spec and low mileage - They're aren't any!
I think I will list mine at the end of June, need a change about, it will be listed at £47k right spec sub 30K miles, just had a big service + belts at OPC and a very late untracked 12 plate car. NO warranty but none of my cars have warranty due to PS4S tyres and a working Bosche battery. OPC just checked and passed my R no issues though. These are only going to go up now it's the cheapest best rare model atm.

What do you mean by checked and OK'd by your OPC...The only written OK an OPC will give is an 112 point check, and it won't pass that with a non OEM battery and tyres...I know its daft, but thats the way they operate..!Edited by Porsche911R on Thursday 31st May 13:28
