Red was standard, but you could pay for other colours.

I think Budflicker's Viper R has silver belts and door pulls, too.

Hi MDT48

Your correct, it does have the silver pulls and seatbelts.

Off out for a blast in it later to Rye Harbour with some friends if it stays dry.

Still have your eyes on the look out then haha!

I just cannot get on with those wheels. They look horrendous with the black face and silver inside. Needs to be completely black or full silver in my opinion.

I love the silver inside, funny how we all like different things. Makes it so you can see the wheel, all black look non oem and you cannot see any detail.

there are 2 manuals for sale in the whole of the UK and no OPC cars lol

so a few is one extra one over the one which was for sale :-)

Any way the white one is perfect spec, nice miles and £48k any of the guys wanting one should have bought it already ;-)

That's why I got my dealer to have my wheels done after delivery, rather than at the factory.

puts a lot of buyer off as not oem, then you have to ask extra questions why are they all black etc etc.

personal choice as always, but buyers are fussy when it comes to detail and oem.

Silver wheels look much better on white cars anyway imo.

Yeah that white one does look like a good purchase to me too.

Only thing I'd miss/want are xenons.

too rare an option on a already small pool of about 40 manual cars with buckets, spyder wheels etc.

I have fitted some new so called super bright bulbs they help a bit, but yep xenons are nice, but then you get into the extra weight of them and all the extra water you carry etc etc lol so you could say the R with xenons is the wrong choice due to the weight of the units/cleaning etc. the cars headline is 1295kg that's very light in todays heavy weights

my R has AC and radio so must weight 1320 or so, my Spyder sans roof etc weighs 1250kg you can tell jumping from one to the other.
I hate having someone in the Spyder as it feels so great, but it's puts it at a full fat R weight. Shocking difference esp as the R brakes are lacking so the extra weight effects every thing.

I made a note of the weight of mine once. It was 1330kg with around 1/3 tank of fuel from memory.

Makes my 930kg Clio sound impressive.

Considering how cheap it is to refurb wheels any way you want, I can't see that being a problem .

Wheel colour certainly wouldn't put me off if I was buying, I'd simply factor in the cost of having them done.

Actually considering having them refurbed in gunmetal as it happens.

Oh, and mine has Xenons, so I guess that makes it super rare by your reckoning :-)

Mine must have been the rarest of the rare then !! It had bi-xenons !! eekeekeekeek

The black and silver wheels are lovely :

but keeping gloss black wheels clean on a car that's driven rather than polished, was a'mare (especially when a previous owner looked to have used a Brillo pad to clean them ...) shoot

Gunmetal sounds like a very pragmatic choice, and as for the comments about not liking the barrels being silver silly or that painting them all black makes for a hard sell heherolleyes
