Yep - I always knew the stripe would divide opinion, but I wanted to do something a little different, and I do think it complements the side decals nicely, given the typography matches. I think it looks best when you can see both the side decals and the stripe together

I had the stripe put on top of the PPF, so if I do get bored of it or change my mind, I can just remove it.

Exhaust tips are looking very tatty now, though, so I'm thinking or ordering a set of chrome black Fabspeed tips - they have independent pipes for each tip, too, so there's a cleaner exit for the exhaust gasses.

Thinking that I may need to replace the centre caps, the badges are looking a bit worn. Trying to decide whether I can just get away with the silver versions, rather than having to spray them.

Hopefully there will be some kind of meet that we can both get to, and you can get a proper look.

As for bins - 3x recycling, 1x refuse, 1x garden waste, 3x food. I used to only have one food bin, but it broke and when we asked for a replacement they sent three over the course of a week!

I have bin envy haha. Only have one landfil bin and then two small boxes for recycling, one for paper, one for everything else.

Do you mean get centre caps with no porsche crest? I'm not sure how that would look. You can buy the centre caps as a kit. I bought some for my old 911 and they really freshened the wheels up.

My exhaust tips are a tiny tiny bit worn now. I'm keeping on top of them though and cleaning whenever I can. We can compare tips....... 8-)

Nope - I mean the silver centre caps with the coloured crests. Obviously they sprayed my existing ones to match the wheels, but I'm wondering whether the standard silver ones would look okay. Actually I think I've got some old silver ones from my 911 knocking around in the garage, so I can check :-)

I like the look of the black chrome ones, I think they look great, especially on a red car.

Indeed they look smart.
Theyre expensive for what they are but nice quality from what i have seen.
Im still tempted with some downturns for trackdays myself similar to some of the GT cup cars. I had a downturn on the Impreza and always like the purposeful look smile

My lovely little R is just heading towards 13k miles and is close to needing a new set of tyres. Based on the collective experience on here are there any recommendations of a particular brand/spec or would consensus be to stick with OEM?

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and they're brilliant, but probably not worth it if you don't track your R.

If you're looking for a good road tyre, Michelin Pilot Super Sports are a very good bet.

avoid OEM at all costs imo ;-)

MPSS or PS4S,, if you use the car when it rains PS4S 100%

As advise from the lads above:

Mostly track and dry road - Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2
Mostly dry road with occasional wet/track day - Michelin Pilot Supersports
All weather - Michelin Pilot Sport 4s

All superb tyres smile

I've got the Pilot Sport 4S on mine and have been very impressed - seem to be wearing well too!

Anyone else prefer the look of the wheel refurb in full gloss black?? As opposed to the OE black face, silver lip and grey wheel wells....

Yep, me :-)

Which is why I opted to get my wheels refurbed black after it arrived at the dealer, rather than at the factory. It's not just the silver line that annoys me, but the fact that the inside of the wheel is still silver, just looks wrong in my eyes, although there are many who disagree with me.

Got tired of them being black, though, so just had mine refurbed in gunmetal, as seen in the photos above. Doh! Comedy page rollover - as seen on the previous page laugh

Much prefer the factory black wheels myself. It lightens up the inner wheel, disc's etc and the silver band breaks it up too. Too much black otherwise and they just get lost. Also I prefer keeping things as per factory or that can easily be put back to factory.

It doesn't get much easier than wheel refurbs if you want to put back to factory spec - but I wouldn't be worried about a car not being 100% OEM if I liked it.

That ship has sailed for me anyway, and I'm certainly not going back to the mushy brake pedal feel from the standard master cylinder, or the horrible performance from N spec tyres smile
