Well you can read what I've said....it's obviously both!! I like air con... you suggest you don't but you try to make out that the cars are better without it . I have been pointing out that I like air con and wouldn't be without it. It is also a selling point which tends to add value. You can see the amount of people who have turned down cars without air con and that's just on here. Anyway I'm not too bothered about your preferences as long as I know mine has the best spec for me (And for selling on should I feel the need).
You could always have it retro fitted But then it wouldn't be factory would it?
Of course it can be both, but then why did you respond with an emphatic "no" when I suggested that resale was a major factor? You could have just as easily said "You're right, resale is a major factor for me, but also..." but instead your response to my post suggesting that was "no."You could always have it retro fitted But then it wouldn't be factory would it?

So, yes, I can read your posts, but it seems that perhaps you're not sure what you're actually saying

Okay so if a few guys are up for a Cayman R gathering in Essex ill propose the following:
Sunday 29th July - 9:00am
The Hare,
Bishops Stortford Rd,
Roxwell,
Chelmsford
CM1 4LU
http://www.pieandpintinns.co.uk/thehare/contact.ph...
Meet up for a natter and a bit of breaky. Pub offers nice carpark and decent breaky. If this is successful and folks want to do another perhaps we can look into a few more meets and maybe mix it up a bit for locations.
Thoughts?

Guessing this one is out of the window due to lack of take up, which is cool.
Ill be at the PCGB meet at Rivenhall Oaks as per usual on their monthly gathering if any further R owners wish to join.
Maybe one day we can arrange a dedicated R meet so we can all swing our handbags and argue over tyres, AC and speculation, much love to you all xxx

I'd love to attend such a meet. I'd be curious to meet some of the people on this thread. I reckon it would be a good laugh. It is unfortunate I'm somewhat further north than most though.... well apart from the other one also in Aberdeen!frayz said:

I would have been up for it. But it would mean I have to go on the M25 and I avoid that unless I have to haha!!Guessing this one is out of the window due to lack of take up, which is cool.

No AC
Gaydon British Motor Museum as an example, easy to get too for more people.
Who wants to goto Surrey FFS :-)
You will find it MUCH harder then you ever thought getting cars together, so I doubt we will break my combined effort :-)

We can easily get a better colour combo though ;-)
Even if the numbers are slimmer.
Shall we pencil Sunday morning on 12th August?
Meet up somewhere early doors. Have a chit chat and then a small drive somewhere?
I am definitely up for a Cayman R meet, however i cant do the 12th August as my son is boxing that day (has a fight) so i will be watching him.Even if the numbers are slimmer.

Any other Sunday after that and i'm in, and will pop along in The Viper one.
Of course i do fully understand that dates are set for when it is most convenient for the majority so if it is the 12th then have a good morning.
Mid August is also summer holiday time though so you might get a better turnout in September?

12th is potentially doable for me, in fact I think it's the only weekend in August that I have free right nowAny other Sunday after that and i'm in, and will pop along in The Viper one.

Did anyone with a CR set out to buy a manual car and end up with a PDK? If so any regrets?
When i bought mine I was open to either a manual or PDK and ended up with PDK as it had everything else i wanted (spyders, buckets, pse and air con, plus it had PPF from new so was immaculate) and have no regrets at all. Obviously having not driven a manual i dont know what I’m missing is what some will think!Gassing Station | Boxster/Cayman | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
