‘investment status’ who wrote this stuff? Beautiful example, "lightweight" (spec fannys read Poverty) spec
That's 3 very decent manuals for sale now, Dan's Peridot is still the best spec.
The Meteor grey one is missing PSE but very low mileage.
The new silver one is also low miles but has that horrid rear wiper. Looks like it has aircon too so not pure lightweight spec...
Seem to be hanging around though, normal winter slowdown or Brexit fear?

I may be biased but gloss black does not suit the Spyder wheels.
I got to know mine a bit more last weekend and so far I love it, plenty fast enough with a lovely balance to the chassis and the PSE makes a great noise! The brake pedal isn't that supportive in a stop but the stopping power is good, I can see why a GT3 MC would be a good mod if one wasn't too concerned with Porsche extended warranty.
Let's hope there is a dry trackday I can sneak out on later in the year.....

Probably more due to tyre kickers mate.
More to do with a ceiling price of the car and those 3 are over it :-)I don't feel that there is a 'ceiling price' for the R and the right cars with the right spec and provenance will always find a buyer. What else offers what the R offers (or even comes close) at £50k? £60k? £70k?

I took mine out with some friends on Saturday for a hoon and have been asking myself the same question. We were on some amazing roads - google Dalveen Pass. Boxster GTS, Exige etc so some lovely motors. Car sounded amazing when giving it the beans and road holding was tremendous.Cayman r is a gem - I had toyed with selling mine to get a McLaren but I'm keeping

More likely to be the buyers out there are holding out for their absolute perfect spec which with such a small pool of cars made is either unlikely or impossible. Buying any used car made in limited numbers will always involve an element of compromise or result in disappointment!

Always a ceiling for a car. no shortage of cars to buy at those values listed. public vote with their money it's as simple as that.I don't feel that there is a 'ceiling price' for the R and the right cars with the right spec and provenance will always find a buyer. I love my R's but at >£50k I know what I would buy, and it's still a Porsche.
I think the Viper at £55k will be the ceiling this year, an absolute peach of a car!
Maybe they'll rise again come spring, many variables involved, but with GT3s and GT4s dropping as well, there's a knock on effect to other 'rare' cars.
I think I'll be ready to pull the trigger (again) over the next few months...
On a side note, those who've had both, how do they compare? (Except the gearing issue)

I liked my R more than the GT4, but think the GT4 makes a better track car and the R a better road car.Maybe they'll rise again come spring, many variables involved, but with GT3s and GT4s dropping as well, there's a knock on effect to other 'rare' cars.

Viper price was a one off for some one to pay 25% over the normal market value for a car to get green.
These prices might come to the buyers at these values though but in the longer term as I predicted it’s a sleeper.
But £50k is not today’s market that’s pretty clear.
A cars worth what some one will pay, and some one wanted to pay £10k for a colour, no right and wrong, lucky for the seller and a happy buyer, win win.
At present I wouldn't sell our CR for any less than £49 995
It's absolutely mint concours condition with only 16 k mileage very pampered car.
Peridot green black spyder wheels man box carbon buckets chrono sports exhaust air con alcantara wheel probably one or two other small extras so kept nice and light Lol
As been said above what's as good in the Porsche range at this price .
I believe they are excellent value and make a great drivers road cars maybe occasional track.
Hard to find good ones with a nice spec even harder finding lower milers.
Those who have them or owned them know how good they are once you spend time in the seat.
If you can't run to 80 k maybe more nothing else comes to mind in Porsches.
Enjoy your C/Rs

not sure 16k miles is a good point, I did over 40k in my R's these are cars to be used and fun to drive, having a low miles car in the garage is, well a shame. 2k PA ! the others less than 1.5k PA use !
Then at £50k the values in the miles so buy at £50k and use it you loose £10k !
shame some of these cars end up garage queens ;-( due to values.
