How much are we talked into these must have options ?
Surely you pick a car with what you want.
Although I thought the point of the R was a lightweight drivers car.
Which means the Bowker car in hardcore spec should have sold immediately and not sit for months with a price cut in Dec last year.

The black R's have never sold particularly quickly as IMO its the least desirable colour choice but if you like it - buy it.Surely you pick a car with what you want.

The so called 'must have options' are not only desirable to own and live with (and make the R such a great road car) but seemingly have a massive effect on resale desirability and price. Whilst we all might accept a compromise or two for our ownership period the next owner has every right to be fussy and demand the best.
I loved mine deerly, preferred it as a fast road car to both the 997 GTS and the Cayman GT4 and if I wasn't 6ft4" I would never have sold it but the driving position restriction was a compromise too far for spirited driving or track use.
The 911V car is a stunner ;-)

911 Virgin CR looks great spot on price wise even value for the money for a right buyer hard.to find in right spec now andf mileage is fairly good as well.
Great spec car but the R market just isn't at £47K any more with the GT car "overs" market collapsing (see 991.2 GT3RS prices over recent weeks for evidence), full fat spec 981 GT4s now trading for numbers beginning with a 7, and 718 GT4 incoming. Anything at £45K or above seems to stay on the market for a long time....Rsx Boy said:
Is that the car that was for sale about the same price not so long ago with the damage? I thought it had damage to door, wing and rear quarter, not just a wing. But maybe my memory isn't correct.Basic said:
There are no pictures of the driver's side in the listing, and from the others the driver's side wing mirror appears to be missing. On the picture of the interior you can see what appears to be damage to the windscreen and pillar.
Yeah they are the same pics as when it was listed as damaged, just with the ones showing the damage removed... although as you've said, you can still see some of it. Seems incredibly bizarre to me that you would mend a car and then no rephotograph it before asking £35k for it!PaulD86 said:

it’s the same seller. I contacted them before Christmas with an offer to swap the seats with cash their way. No response.ClioTrophy55 said:

Just bought it.
Congrats! Strong money for a PDK though...I wanted a Peridot Green, PDK, buckets car and as far as I can tell (and having discussed with other “R searchers”) this is the first such car advertised by trade for at least 6 months maybe longer. I’ve posted here and PCGB seeking private cars but only one has come forward, uncertain whether to sell, higher price, so...
The car is well presented, flawless paint, alloy refurbish, not low but neither high miles, good service history/previous ownership. And effectively a Clubsport, so I’m happy.
Glad to join the ranks of R owners. As a previous owner of 981 GT4 and 991.2 GT3, I can now pitch into the GT4 vs R “which is best and why” debate that we all know and love!

Sorry Jim i don't want to sound harsh but you often suggest certain R's are overpriced and are still without one yourself....Clio has the one he wanted....Sometimes you've gotta pay for what you want. A good R in a strong colour at a fair price in my eyes.
Congratulations Clio....enjoy and welcome to the R club.

Clio - congratulations, lovely looking R in a great colour, second only to Viper Green (I am biased)
Great car congrats obviously the car you wanted looks a fair price to me anyone searching for the right car in perfect condition and history and right spec for them I say good luck to them.
Why buy a cheaper one and never really be 100 % happy .
I know when I sell my CR I wont be giving it away
Mint condition Peridot 17 k miles man box carbon buckets chrono pse black spyder wheels A/c alcantara wheel couple more minor bits but the main options .
Very pampered car.
So I still say congratulations good ones are harder to find now
Always a buyer for every car.
PS Never seen a Track for the person that asked .
Cheers.
