If this has buckets and decent service history, it could be a great buy...

Someone just bloody buy it and drive it.
Under 2000 miles a year just isnt enough for a Cayman R, theyre far too good for that.
This. I've stopped caring about the miles on mine - I've no plans to ever sell it - and am loving it. Did 400 miles over last weekend and loved every one. Under 2000 miles a year just isnt enough for a Cayman R, theyre far too good for that.
Going to refurb the wheels silver soon and then after summer I might get the front painted to rid it of the stone chips, but I plan to enjoy it and put miles on it. I actually think these cars are better when they are driven regularly. Mine certainly seems to prefer it.

I havent painted the front of mine yet but i will, and would like to PPF it when i do. As i do drive it and it will only get chipped again.

Collecting on Sunday from another forum member
After ten years with a 964 it will be a bit of different driving experience, but I'm looking forward to it

That is one good looking car!,
It’s sat in the garage under a cover waiting for you to collect on Sunday.
Will be sorry to see it go , but needs must.
Regards
Dave
Spent the morning hooning around the low adhesion circuit at PEC Silverstone this morning. So much fun learning to transition between powerslides in it.
Spun her a good few times but also got some amazing transitions in it. It’s so well balanced this car, every time I drive it I love it that little bit more.
Time for new rear Cups though haha
Also narrowly walked away from taking this home for my daughter (only 3 months so a bit young yet). Excuse the stupid grin.

Any news on the collection or are you still out there enjoying it?Very happy, though it's a squeeze in my garage now. It's a whole lot bigger than a 964 !!
Looking forward to getting to know it a bit more in the coming weeks

Cracking picture of your R , I think it rivals the one I’ve just sold to Gary for cleanliness .Spun her a good few times but also got some amazing transitions in it. It’s so well balanced this car, every time I drive it I love it that little bit more.

Love the windscreen sun stripe , could I ask where you got it from?
Which course did you do at Silverstone?
Kind regards
Dave

Sunstrip was from Mark @ MarkOne Graphics (same chap made my sticky front plate) Its matte black strip with gloss place Porsche typeface. The morning was a PCGB organisted PEC morning with tuition. I was asked what i wanted to learn most and that was getting teh R sliding about and learning to drift it a bit. So i spent basically my whole time on the low adhesion circuit sliding about Love the windscreen sun stripe , could I ask where you got it from?
