Some suspect panel gaps - bonnet right hand side/front corner, headlight on same side vs bumper, rear bumper between the light and the boot opening (compare each side), wrong wheels and no buckets (among other bad spec choices) - and an import so likely no real HPI history to draw on. I'd prefer a genuine UK 'S' than this one if it were my budget and hard earned.

Yep went to Mailly Champagne House recommended.
Whilst there cars service light came up now due so booked in today at Opc earliest Aug 3rd.
Not done that one, perhaps have to put it on the list. We ended up in the Taittinger cellars and then came home with some rather expensive vintage pink bubbles that my wife thought we just had to have. Haha.
I’m not really a champagne drinker, but I have to say it was very nice. We saved it for opening when our little girl was born back in January.

Do love a good road trip. smile

Hope the EML is an easy fix, any ideas what it might be?

To continue the theme I to am heading to mainland Europe in September for a road trip, Nurburgring - black mountains - Lake Como - Spa trackday and Home.

Any recommendation for phone mounts? Usually I hate them but I’ll need decent Nav and music options. I was thinking this https://www.design911.co.uk/mobile/#part;id=134431

Thoughts?

Looks good that, maybe just need to make sure your passenger wouldn't knock it off with a stay knee..

I’ve an iPhone case from Mous which has magnets built in that cannot be seen. They do a corresponding mount that atf he’s to said magnets and can hold the phone in either portrait or landscape.
Best case I’ve ever had, slim and incredibly protective, well worth a look. smile

Not the EML light just the Service reminder indicator.
The Champagne tasting was good too at Mailly.

Real Pleasure to see photos of so many of these Rs out and about both here and on the continent!

If any of you can be persuaded I`d be well grateful for any R presence at Brands Hatch the evening of 4th September. Going with a mate, we've a promotional thing going on which means that if there are 5 of us we`ll all get 10% discount.. Call 01474 875 226 and quote the group name "M5 Touring" if you`re interested. They'll take your details and once there's enough people, they will contact everyone for payment individually. If we can`t get five its £119 if we can then £107.10

Gave The Croc (as it has been named) a nice deep clean at the weekend, love cleaning cars when you first get them as it really makes you appreciate all the curves and details:

Reson for the clean was a trip to Chatsworth on Sunday.

A fantastic mix of Porsche models from every era there, I'm a massive Porsche enthusiast and seeing all the models there was quite special smokin

Had a great drive back via Matlock and surrounding roads, despite the Sunday traffic. Fab little car this, thought I'd miss a 911 but haven't given it a thought since I made the swap. biggrin

Chatsworth is stunning, loved looking around there. If you’re in that area, you’re truly spoilt for some stunning roads.
We usually stop at The Peacock in Barlow, but now I have a little one in tow, it won’t be the Cayman I get to drive around there. Boooo!!!

So you're now saying that the market price for an R, based on a tatty, high mileage, imported car with no history, the wrong seats and the wrong wheels that someone was so desperate to get rid of that they auctioned it with no reserve....is £20K? As others have said in the GT4 threads that you've spouted nonsense on....please jog on and troll somewhere else.

Its a crap one - no doubt. Earlier comments and close review of pictures showed a number of worrying points, not least the crappy spec and an import. 45k isn't high mileage really - just rare for an R on this forum to be up there, but there are lots of S on way more miles at same age and they wear it well. (Confession - I have to say that as my R is now past 38k!!!)

I've done 2500 miles in the last two weeks in mine....though I had only done 1000 in the year before that.

mine turned over to the big 40 on the way back from Goodwood last Thursday

in the last month it's had a major service, brake fluid flush, some braided lines fitted (in yellow to match my callipers readit) and a new set of PS4S fitted

and it's better then ever cool

Pretty sure 40k means it’s probably worth weighing in now. biggrin
