On holiday back home in Oz...That's £70k

At least it's a manual with buckets and PSE smile

So if I decide to emigrate I'll take mine with me as shipping will be well covered by the value's there !! and it's RHD too in Oz wink
I think there's a load of expensive hoops to jump through to get a car into Oz.

Just a heads up chaps.
I’ve been waiting on deal for tyres to come up. Black circles offering 10% off today on all Michelin inc Cups.
So a set of 4 fully fitted Cup 2s has just come in at £823 at a very well respected local tyre fitter.

Got to book my R in for the 8yr service....gulp...

Anyone got a recent guide on price for this?

Cheers
£875.00 fixed price from Porsche

Had to haggle a little to get a price match to the £875 as my local OPC (Colchester) weren't in the scheme, but I was prepared to go to Tonbridge who are. Colchester price matched.

Colchester are absolute chancers! Had a few friends get silly quotes, sent them all to Tonbridge!

There’s a young lad in their parts dept I know who is possibly one of the most helpful people I’ve ever used at a dealership.
Tristan Morton, I couldn’t recommend him enough, super helpful and excellent service.

However when I went to them before buying my R to ask about used 911s, I was looked upon as some sort of second class citizen. As I clearly wasn’t spending hundreds of thousands with them, they couldn’t have been any less interested in serving me or even help me find a car.

If you’re part of the local high roller or have a squillion Instagram followers they can’t get your cock out fast enough. If you’re a normal hardworking guy, forget it.

Only speaking from my own experience and would be my biggest issue should I ever be in a position to afford a new Porsche I actually want to buy.
Such a shame as they’re on my doorstep, but as it stands, I’d go to the moon rather than buy from OPC Colchester.

I’d say I’ve had the same experience at OPC Reading - that’s buying both new and used. It’s like they are doing you a favour!! Saying that, round their service centre excellent.

Mixed experience at OPC Portsmouth - great when buying new but absolute ste when looking to P/X into the next new one in terms of what they said I’d have in terms of equity vs reality.

Hmmm....given the greasy, slippery condition of the track last Tuesday, I think like the rest of the cars in that clip, we'd have struggled to keep up with him! redface

Another recommendation for Tonbridge OPC from me. They have been very good with servicing for me and we ordered a new Macan S the other month and they couldn't have been more helpful.

Friendly bunch in there as well, and I'm far from their typical customer I should imagine but I always feel welcomed and never looked down on or judged.

4 new boots for the old girl today.
That feeling you get letting someone else work on your car gets pacing up and down like an expectant father. Ha!

So with the weather being so mild I’ve found it hard to justify leaving the R in hibernation. So out it came Friday afternoon and I’ve clocked up 100 miles since.

Lovely to remind myself how nice it steers and handles. Great little car.

About to migrate for a 4 seater soon, will be super sad to have to sell my 2012 CR PDK with just 17,500 miles. Near perfect with Spyder wheels in Platinum silver and Porsche warranty till April 2021.
Will be putting this up for sale later this week - what would be a fair price folks?

it's more luck than price atm on that model/spec. Ring 911V and get a price is your best bet.

£36k maybe.
