Much sideways action later, and by a miracle no damage to the car.... I crept my way up and over the finish line.....
Get your coat love.... time to leave :-)

I got to drive the hill once..... it was a Healey Club event, I arrived really late, just as they were closing down. But they kindly waved me to the start line. I then head up the hill with the usual red mist, only to discover that the last car up had dropped a load of oil on one of the bends !!

Le Mans Classic Track laps, Goodwood, Silverstone and lots of UK events.
My Spyder is my modern version. All the character but a lot less hassle :-)

That was my car - it won't hang around as it's got all the boxes ticked apart from an alcantara steering wheel.

Not sure i can justify two cars almost the same, I just want the brakes!!Brakes are phenomenal but they don't half squeal inner city speeds. You get odd looks or knowing looks depending on the crowd.

You'll regret having them if they ever get chipped or start to laminate! Not for the faint hearted!
thats good to know! im actually just speccing up an AP Racing brakes system so might just go with that as will add 383 mm front and 355 mm rear disks, should make it look abit better!breakfan said:
Hi, long time lurker but first time poster on this thread. I’m interested in the Ashgoods car. £39995 seems about right? Is there anything I should know about it? PCCBs scare me a little, I know nothing about them other than replacement cost. Thanks
Id say that car was a bargain at that price for the spec, PCCB tbh nothing to worry about if the discs go and dont want to spend a fortune on ceramics you can put replacement steel discs onbreakfan said:

You can replace the ceramic rotors with larger than standard steel rotors if the price is prohibitive. Also benefit from the larger calipers. That was my car. I had grand ideas for it and I waited ages for something like this to turn up. I think it's the best one around and there must be less than 6 with that combo ever made. Sadly, I didn't think it was the car for me and wanted a bit of a classic project to replace it instead.
PM me if you would like more details.
