Hi Guys, Good news is that the 21st RS day at Oulton is on March 5th 2021. Bad news is that it is fully booked already
Good news, I know of 3 R owners who have booked it
Not sure which car I'm taking at the moment. May well take the R wink

Possible R coming to market:

Guards red/black wheels
PDK
Spyder wheels.
Carbon seats
PSE
Sport Chrono+
18k miles

Not sure on price yet, will come back with the full spec when I know more.
Can you let me know if it does, have a good mate looking and that spec would suit him perfectly,
It’s a friend of mines son selling it, he is working this evening and I’m hoping to get a full spec and price tomorrow.

As soon as I know more, I’ll pass the info on.

When was the last red R listed? I recall a red 987 Spyder but not an R.

I guess it was mine, bought early July via this thread (it never made it to the classifieds). Same spec as above minus the PDK and PSE

Got my first trackday in it booked for 14 Nov at Bedford - can't wait!

Blimey that sold out quick. So that means I am able or not able to turn up with my R? I'm guessing not then.
I am mistaken. Sorry. I thought you were referring to the 10th Year meet.

When I was looking a few years ago. Red one was on autotrader with this spec for ages , maybe it’s the same one , not sure how rare red is , most seem black and white , think the more risky colours suit it person

Lovely mileage and spec will be top dollar but worth it miles and years of use in that car.
Be even higher price if manual .
Rare opportunity for someone .
Good luck selling probably don't need it good ones sell.

Yeah, that one has been on a few months now unsurprisingly.

I think it's been on Autotrader for a while now ? Notable for the colour mismatch between the N/S/F front wing and N/S door, the lack of Spyder alloys and the missing decals off the trailing edge of the front wing and front bumper.
80K miles and £33K ? Looks very toppy to me.

Hi
You know the Genuine Porsche Telescopic Car Umbrella that fits in the door sill cubby hole. Is it a one size fits all? so if I found one that fits a 997 and 991 Boxster is that the same for the 987?
Thanks
Julian

Unless you are dead set on a "Porsche" umbrella with no real performance differentiation then have a look at somewhere like Boxa.net where there are numerous examples of similar size umbrellas with a good logo ironed on for pocket money.

Got the full sized Porsche Martini one in the boot. Much better for the same money as the pissy little thing that lives in the door sill pocket.

I started bidding on one and it got to £95 still outbid and I figured this is nonsense.

Fronts installed!

Very impressed so far, pedal is a lot firmer so very happy with that, had to remove some wheel weights so need to get rebalanced but otherwise only difference at present is steering is marginally heavier but totally worth it for the insane braking power

Can't deny it, they do (as does all BG's stuff) look awesome. I can't say I'm surprised the steering's a bit weightier now biggrin

Looking into my crystal ball, I see tyres turning relative to wheels and the imprint of a head on the inside of the passenger side of the windscreen hehe

Have you by chance already fitted the much debated 997 GT3 master cylinder ?

Why would I need an umbrella in my R, god forbid I'd take it out in the rain...
