Hi
Sales chat weaves into this one thread.
And at
https://www.caymanoc.com/forums/topic/2314-cayman-...

And in the For Sale section and General chat threads such as

https://www.caymanoc.com/forums/topic/2592-cayman-...

What spec are you after? Two were listed today both by the same dealer which is quite random.
Thanks! Not 100% fussed as I am aware numbers are low. Manual is the one though as I currently drive one now, if it can already have a short shift kit fitted from the factory (like my 987.2) that would be great, PSE again a good bonus. Sports buckets, again great but I am not a massive track guy so might be a little wasted.

If it can be Peridot green, then I'd lay the cash down now!
You are in luck, that recent listing is a manual Peridot and claimed as the best Peridot in the UK.
Peridot, Bucket seats PSE Chrono Black Spyder Wheels A/C Alcantara Steering wheel.
Job done!

Great blog by the way. I can barely use the performance of my 987.2 so I cannot imagine what a GT4 or GT3 are like on the road. Really feel the 987 Cayman is a definite sweet spot for driving engagement in the UK.
This is a good video on that subject.

Been busy clocking up the miles:

Should’ve taken a shot of the brakes on the Taycan Turbo S; the callipers where about the same size as my wheels…

Found a good solution for streaming music.. Airplay Pro. £30 on the bay, plugs into Aux phono socket & works well

Thanks man. We were over that way yesterday anyway so couldn't resist checking it out. Would like to try and make one of the London meets... it's just knowing when they're happening. I'd be up for coming over to an Essex event too if you let me know when something's happening thumbup

We have quite a good local breakfast meet on the first Saturday of the month at one of 3 local gastro-pubs. All owed by the same chap so he rotates the venue. Next one is Saturday 7th August @ The Castle, Great Leighs.

It's the only way! I find myself looking for excuses to get out and drive. 5000 miles since November!

Yeah, I've clocked up about the same miles since Oct.
This is my template. https://youtu.be/q4jJhjdNTc4

That car fetched £50k at auction last year.

After previous chat on the best angle for the 987 - I think this one works. Although standing on top of a 1.2m rock isn't the most common of viewing postions.

Shame about the pylon, but the light this time of year is fantastic.

I'll never understand why people spec'd these in any other colour.

I know it well and follow him on IG. Not quite sure an R would still be worth £50k with that many miles, but it would be fun finding out!

Yes, I meant to add that even though the moon miler fetched £50k this 40k mile Clubsport that sold the same month only fetched about £15k more.

https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/2007-porsche-9...

Maybe there was more than just mileage to differentiate the two cars but it showed to me that not all buyers desert a car because of big miles so why are some (many!) so precious about it.

I think the attraction with the moon miles car is that it can be driven without fear of wiping off huge sums of money, whereas the precious low-milers will come with a high starting price, that could drop 10k or more with every extra 5k miles.

Yes, and if losing money is an issue for those low miler car buyers then I suggest maybe they have bought the wrong car.

They become a bragging rights asset and not a financial investment as very, very few cars will ever be good financial investments when ALL the holding costs are added up (which people rarely ever do)...

Top of Bealach na Ba on drive to Gairloch on NC500 route. If any of you guys are planning a road trip towards Inverness/through Highlands I recommend you use A93 through Blairgowrie over Glenshee....wow what a road ! It has everything the A9 doesn’t, A9 is a drag stuck behind lorries and camper vans on route to Inverness
