Have you considered these too as they have a good array of exhaust tips

Hi Julian, yes I did look at these too but I think they are slightly smaller diameter. Do you have any experience of these Soul pipes?https://soulpp.com/product/porsche-boxster-cayman-...
feature on them

and once fitted.

They do seem well respected as an exhaust option.
I just like the look of their tips, they seem well considered in material and shape.

The shots are sideways because they’re taken as a “live” photo on an Apple device. Edit the photo and turn off “live” before posting and it will orientate correctly.
Looks like you had a mega day, wish I was there. Ha.
Cheers Frayz. Photos weren’t live, & I tried editing them and turning 90 but no success. Few more here. It seems that photos taken in landscape on the iPhone are ok, but portrait don’t work, even when “live” is switched off. anyone any ideas? CheersLooks like you had a mega day, wish I was there. Ha.

Cayman R's are becoming increasing sort after in recent years
Meanwhile, back to the car, I'm not convinced black is the R's strongest colour, and it'd be complete PITA to keep clean if you were to actually drive it (as opposed to just polishing it every weekend)

There is a black one in Nth Ireland and I know of the owner but haven't seen it in the flesh.
Have to save I'd like to see an R in white over full red leather interior (incl buckets).....That would be a unicorn..

I am a tiny bit biased obviously
I can also confirm that it is an absolute PITA to keep looking good. However no pain, no gain and all that

I was adamant I didn't want White but after buying one I wouldn't go anything else. It just seems to work with the black accents and yes still looks clean even when it isn't.

Check out Sernty1 on Instagram for a cracking white example. There is a black one in Nth Ireland and I know of the owner but haven't seen it in the flesh.

Red interior, yes, but only the seats and a few other bits (door inserts) but not dash, not carpet, not steering wheel, and it would need to be a red such as this : |https://thumbsnap.com/LJRMLP1x[/url]

Agree, but then again I am biased too. Regarding the washing, have you tried my non-two bucket method? I posted it on the Cayman forum....saves a lot of time and hassle and is more effective and safer.
I have Julian, I used the 3 bucket method about 15+ years ago, Jonson's baby shampoo, grit guards, waffles softer than a babies bottom, all that nonsense, it didn't work on a Midnight blue car that was hard driven through the Winter or in rain. Neither did it work on my Jet black GT3, nor my 996 GT2. At which point I abandoned the whole concept of owning garage queens and just enjoyed driving them whilst not being overly an*l about washing and cleaning them. I imagine the thought of your pride and joy looking this would give you sleepless nights or nightmares !! ??
I was heavily involved in vehicle paintwork for some years, which meant I ended up machine polishing panels and scratches pretty much every day. Marring of laquer and deep scratches doesn't bother me, on the contrary, I'm more blase about them than most, and if needs be, I can always get my 1200/2000/3000 grit wet and dry out along with the mop and polishing compound and return a panel to as good as, if not better than new.
FWIW, my daily driver BMW is metallic silver, and with good reason !!

Never heard of the 3 bucket method unless that is a joke. my method is no bucket. Anyhoo, it probably would keep me awake if I left the car covered in dirt for a week or so long.
Not a joke, it was the "in thing" 15-20 years ago :https://cardetailingplanet.com/3-bucket-method-the...
along with Maguires grit guards and lots of other such nonsense.
As you've said previously, we're all different, though personally I find cleaning cars overrated, there's more fun to be had driving them them than polishing them, but each to their own.

i like car cleaning it as I find it therapeutic but I can see how many would find it a drag.
washing and driving is yin-yang for me, opposite but complimentary, kind of.
