Yes that's my car. What's all this Stevie Wonder business please? Have people seen the car "in the flesh"?
I cant see what anyone else is seeing to be honest. julian987R said:
I am assuming the colour difference between the bumper and bonnet? if so, I wonder if it just the lighting as the front fenders rising up can in some photos cast a different hue.
Owning a peridot car myself i can tell you that all panels look different colours depending on their placement on the car, their lighting and viewing angle. The paint has so much pearl in it that in some lights it looks more yellow than green. Ive seen that actual car at the CR anniversary gathering and it was very nice indeed

I'd like to change the exhaust tips on mine some time so I'll be curious to hear how easy these are to swap once you've done it.
Yes I’d like to know how easy they are to fit too! I’m told it’s a simple diy job so time will tell. I may well leave it until winter time when the car is off the road anyway.leemanning said:
I'm going to be picking up the black R from RPM tomorrow.
Very nearly bought one of these new back in the day, so quite excited to be finally trying it and seeing how it stacks up!
congrats, welcome your going to love it looks like a lovely car.Very nearly bought one of these new back in the day, so quite excited to be finally trying it and seeing how it stacks up!
I sat in one when they were brand new while picking up some parts for my old 986, idly playing with the door straps and dreaming, it took me a few years to get there but I cant see it going anywhere now ! I'm pretty fickle with my cars but entering the 4th year of ownership with mine and I still love it !
Enjoy

How hard can it be? Tbf, some jobs have been easier than expected - brakes on these things have been easy to work on. I have this thought that the exhasut tips could be in the category of, "should be simple but will end up taking hours and requiring careful use of an angle grinder". Hopefully I'm wrong!

Have been running approx 30 psi front and 32/33 psi rear on the road, on track I start at this for a few laps then come in as they heat up and bleed them down to just above this level, then just check on them prior to each session. I never run more than about 10 laps at a time anyway as they tend to get a bit too greasy.
Before I leave the track I check them and put back a few psi as required.
Biggest mistake I made was completely staying off the racing line in on cooling down laps, they picked up a load of marbles and became very noisy and a bit juddery.
Nice one! just hoping the weather hold out and isnt too wet! Before I leave the track I check them and put back a few psi as required.
