Does anyone have a pic of a 718 Cayman in Crayon they could upload? A real car as i can go on the Porsche site to configure one.

These light greys have to be seen in the flesh. Was at OPC Silverstone this week & they had a 991 in Crayon with black wheels - looked amazing.

Its going to be a very long wait for the 718 GT4 to arrive. So, in the meantime I am day dreaming what colour i would go for if i got an allocation. I'am thinking Crayon with lots of black details - wheels, door handles,Porsche lettering in black on doors etc.

I haven't managed to find one yet, and I've been searching daily. In 4 weeks I can show you pics of mine wink

And you've had pretty much the same idea re black highlights as me. I've gone for Sport Design, Carrera Sport alloys in gloss black, painted black air intakes, 718 rear badge in black, black headlight washers and headlights. I left off tinted rear lights, side lettering and black door handles as I'm not a fan of those options.

Just been told my car is making its way to the port now and should be with the dealership in early August ... not sure if next week is a reasonable expectation?!

Does anyone else find the dials on the multi-function wheel fiddly to use? I removed the multi-function wheel from my order as I found that you had to constantly move the volume control to get it to go up/down sufficiently. I also couldn't figure out how to ffd / skip tracks etc. other than using the touch screen on the PCM.

What functions are available on the multi-function wheel?

Picking up my car tomorrow and whilst I was signing paperwork at OPC Solihull this morning my car turned up on the transporter biggrin

It's going straight over to my detailer once I collect it so more pics at the weekend, nice to finally see Crayon on a Cayman though even if it was filthy and stickered up!

Looking forward to finally seeing some proper pics of a Crayon Cayman. I think you're the first. It looks pretty good actually. What interior did you go for? I must admit I didn't like Crayon on the Panamera but it looks like it suits the smaller, sporty cars.

I didn't like it on a Panamera until I saw this one at PEC last week :

Yikes, your PEC day is awfully close to picking your car up. I've got mine in the next few weeks and I don't have a build date yet.

No my PEC was back in May, this was a spare one I hadn't used from a previous car which I let my 65yr old Mum use. Watching 911's and a GT4 having to indicate to let her pass made me a very proud son biggrin

Fair play for going for crayon. I thought long and hard about it but couldn't find a car with it so as a result bottled it.

Mines due at Solihull in a few weeks also smile

Love the colour. Wasn't available when I opted for graphite blue but would have been tempting if it was. I think the added price might have ultimately put me off. Plus I'm not sure what interior I'd pair with it. For me two tone black/red would be the preferred option but I'm nor 100% on that. What colour did you go for?

Thanks for the nice comments guys smile

@Pinball, I went with the black Sportex to get the silver stitching. I have the interior painted option too and the stitching seemed to go with the Crayon paint pretty well from a quick peek inside.

I reckon the ultimate interior with Crayon would be black leather and lime green stitching, sounds a bit whacky but look how good those green callipers look against Crayon with the Panamera! Pricey option but if I had my time again that's what I would've done.

I think your right re black/red two tone, that'd look great. My last two cars had red leather interior and black with red stitching so I fancied something a bit different this time.

I'm in the same boat. Previous car had two tone black red so felt the need to try something different. Going for sport tex, too, but the graphite/crayon option. The silver deviated stitching will work well with the crayon exterior.

The Graphite/Crayon sport-tex is the most striking combo I think, before they added Crayon paint I was basing my choice of exterior paint around that interior I loved it so much!

I really like the contrasting seats on that option. I've never been a fan of non leather seats but ultimately went for that because of it. That said I've much preferred the sport tex seats over full leather seats in the cars I've driven. Seems both more comfortable and more grippy.
