Boxster spyder PDK or manual ??

Hi all,
Currently running a Ferrari 360 and find myself getting far to precious about it so thinking on the 2011 Spyder , like the looks and also the fact there's not many about.
Never been a Porsche man but understand the PDK box is amazing , so my question to you owners out there , which option would you recommend? And any other options are a must have ?

PDK Vs Manual - Love the manual shift in my spyder, with the addition of the 'short shift' option. I do believe on a sports car of this power level, a manual still offers the greater experience and interaction if you love driving. Test drove a PDK spyder and hated it, actually felt a completely different car. But it is personal preference at the end of the day. If your car is the F1 shift, the PDK will probably feel light years ahead.
I spent many sleepless nights optioning mine, so would be weird to not simply list my car as what I think are perfect options for the Spyder......
Colour (personal preference.. i went white)
'Spyder' alloys... I went black)
Buckets (with crests)
Full leather interior
Extended Alcantara (covers the doors)
Sports exhaust
Air con & radio - It's a road car, not a striped out race car. I thought about the extra weight and keeping it 'pure', but then realistically thought I would get more pleasure and comfort from having them in. A decision I've not regretted.
Would have gone ceramics also, but budget didn't allow that at the time. Though the red calipers work nicely with the rest of the red accents on the trim. And other than weight saving, the standard ones do the job well enough for my needs.
I think they are a great car. Holding steady on prices with chance or marginal gains. Hard decision with the ferrari as it's probably going to be an appreciating classic and great looking.
I also love the fact it's a bit different and a fairly rare sight. Roof has its negative aspects but it also adds 'character' to the car which is an important thing to possess.

Manual is the way to go with the Spyder, but it really isn't a car on the same level as the F360. Not saying you will regret it because it is a great car in its own right.
Personally, I think the Spyder roof is so much of a faff that it becomes a positive and you end up just not using it and so get to "enjoy" the elements a bit more than you would if there was a button to press.
