I done alot of research and so far there is only 2 option that is easily accessible for us in the UK.
1, VR tuning box 800 USD - ( i'm on 718 fb group so i know one guy is running it)
2 Techart tuning box at 4000 euro or something ( not heard anyone using it yet and brochure says 100 octane fuel required)

Other thing i heard of is MTM tuned 718S but that is a german company so unless you will drive over alot , don't bother.

Cobb has not managed to crack the ECU so i doubt they will ever do it.
I don't fancy a remap that requires dismantling the ECU, with tuning box i can just remove it and remove all trace.
Ideally i like to find out more info on those boxes to find out what parameter it reads from ecu, in my bmw days jb4 reads alot more data than simply adding more boost.

I am new to Porsche tuning scene so i don't know which one is the big players on the tuning side here.

What are the prices for cargraphic tuning box?

Thanks

The Ehresmann Automotive stage 1 and 2 comes with a brand new ecu so it can't be returned to standard if you wish.

I’m bumping this five year old thread to ask if anyone has had any negative issues over a two year with a Stage One remapped 718S in the UK.

Also good to hear who you used if the experience has been good, was it a reflash or replacement ECU and what were the costs?

Obviously you cannot mention company names of the experience was bad.(PH rules).

Thanks.

That’s 9 Excellence in Horley?

Which is interesting as I was thinking of going there later this year for a service.

Yes the one and only. They tuned my manual 997.1 turbo to 700bhp + in 2014 and the drive train has been superb over 40,000 hard miles. Now at almost 107,000 miles. It was tuned on a new engine after I blew up my first engine at 60,000 miles when it was stock and still under OPC warranty.

Well, that’s…a glowing recommendation.

I’ve had other cars remapped without issue, by specialists based on their positive reputation, but this is my first Porsche and I wanted to avoid someone who just flashes generic maps.

As you can see all 9e tuning packages properly tested on circuit or airfield over many thousands of miles. Their tuning packages are designed like OEM Porsche to hold power lap after lap not one fast lap and then the tuned car is heat soaked and slower than a stock car like many tuners. If you go on their website all their tuning packages are up there if you put details of your car in.

Whereabouts do you live? I use Ninemeister in Warrington. My 718 now runs a touch over 500bhp, no problems and all work carried out to a high standard as you’d expect

They offer 3 stages of tune for the 2.5T; 430, 460 and 500bhp. I’ve had them all!

Kent. Not far from Buckmore Park karting circuit.

Warrington is a bit far.

I recognised Bruntingthorpe from the tree line before that started, although there were no cars parked on the bottom corner when I did a Don Palmer course there many years ago.

But yes. I agree that their R&D is extensive.

My own goals are for a totally stock looking and sounding car though.
