Service Loan Car costs
Discussion
Since 2008 Guildford, Reading and Brooklands have charged me for loan Porsches unless the work was for a warranty issue. About £20 for the insurance, and they ask me to leave it with the same amount of fuel it had when I picked it up.
But, I look at it as a cheap way to hire a new Porsche for the day.
When I had my Golf and my other half a Toyota the dealers both charged for insurance, about the same cost as Porsche. Not such a great deal; Yaris for £25 or 911 for £25

I owned a GT86 between Porsches a few years ago. I remember the Toyota service manager explaining to me that I could arrange my own insurance to cover the high cost of the courtesy car they were kindly offering me while mine was in for a service. This would help me avoid the £25 they HAD to charge me for being loaned such an expensive vehicle. It was a Yaris. But, I look at it as a cheap way to hire a new Porsche for the day.
