So you would pick duel over a manual gear box, PCCB's or suspension set up on a used Porsche?

I bought my GTS secondhand with no climate, but then I'm mostly hood down and aircon off. It is a tad fiddly when I need to use it but there were so few available at the time that some compromise was inevitable. Would I have bought it if it had manual windows? Oh yes!

This limited availability is the problem. Not sure I'm 100% with you on the manual windows point though. tongue out

I wouldn't buy one without Climate Control as I'm used to setting the temperature and leaving it. Plus in hot weather CC provides automatic cool down to get to the desired temp. etc..

Deal breaker for me as 'normal' AC belongs in budget cars.

There is a pretty loaded BGTS on Autotrader at the moment with only 900 miles, advertised with Dual Climate........... and........it hasn't lol

Yet another "fully loaded" BGTS has just gone on Autotrader for £65k, PCCB's etc....... but....... no dual aircon lol.

This just proves to me yet again that new purchasers just assume they are getting climate control when they order a new porsche and simply don't think being able to set different temperature for the passenger in a two seater car is worth a few hundred £, just does not make sense otherwise. I would put a lot of money on the fact the original owner of this car just assumed it had climate control !

Mercedes play the same trick with the SLC (even the AMG 4.3) Climate is an extra.

Yep, when I upgraded from 987 to 981 I 'thought', assumed that climate was standard and that dual climate was the option.........

very poor (or very clever) from Porsche. A bit like the 4 cylinder 718 situation, we will get loads of newbies and move the existing base into (the more profitable) 991.2.

I found the 981 non climate a real pain to use so made sure i got climate and its much better. I agree like heated seats it should be a given these days but not Porsche it seems.
