Granted the GT4 needs to be at looney road speeds to come properly alive, but part of the attraction is the extra interaction that's had at normal speeds compared to other modern Porsche's. I disagree that it's not well ahead of the GTS in this respect?
I have a manual GTS with PASM and PTV. I didn't think there was any extra "interaction" with the GT4 than in my car. A PDK GTS would obviously be much more different.

Just to add, IMHO the ride quality for such a car is a revelation perhaps it's greatest achievement.
Agreed, and it also applies to the GTS. 991/981/982 PASM is superb.

That's a commendably focused spec, my OPC always gives out if I entertain ordering a manual anything- limited resale/ depreciation etc!
Yet stick a GT badge and limited production on them and there's a merry band of customers trampling over one another to buy one!

So true!

I don't have PCM nav either, I wasn't paying £2k for something worse than Google Maps which I have for free on my phone. An in-car charger and phone holder works just fine for me smile

I do have the phone connection and DAB though.

If you had mentioned wanting a more refined car, we could have saved you the trouble; of course the CGTS is going to win that battle; the GT4 is raw, more suited to the track, but equally as compliant on the road (much more presence on the road). You could argue that any car with more than 180bhp is wasted on UK roads, but that doesn't stop us wink

Shame you weren't more impressed with the GT4, as it likely means you'll continue to talk it down on the GT4 price thread biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
Well there's a surprise! The Yellow GT4 at the PEC is well ragged. I think the Cayman GTS just looks a bit more feminine compared to the GT4? As you say, road presence is superb. GTS... mmm. Richard, YOU'VE BOUGHT THE RIGHT CAR! smile

Indeed! You definitely can't make a bad choice with a 981 Cayman biggrin
This. Completely this.
