Looked great . Not thought about black wheels ?
Look good against yellow calipers IMO

You done many miles ?

I only stayed for 2hrs, only so long I can walk round in circles
15k miles, I don't like black wheels, looks classy with silver imo.

New GT3 i am going silver also.

Nice car almost identical to my old one . List would have been circa 74k.

No roll cage but then I didn't spec mine with one
Be a bit lower than £74k on the black one.

Mind was £74k with a few exclusive parts, 918 seats and carbon over this car.

I thrashed it around in August smile

What were your thoughts on it?
I enjoyed it. I especially liked the low grip stuff and was surprised at just how slidey the red-sprinkler-kick-plate thing was, managed a 720 degree spin at 25mph! Really enjoyed the double-roundabout style sandy low grip area, kicking the back end out holding it and the flicking it the other way was awesome.

I thought the "handling circuits" were Ok, as tracks go I thought they were actually quite tricky and technical! My instructor was great, you could tell he wasn't following a set routine and was listening to what I wanted to do, what my ablities were/weren't etc.

How about you?

I've driven at PEC a few times now and like it. It's a good place to get a decent feel for what a car's like in relative safety IMHO. I always go there with my wife and make a few days away trip out of it. She enjoys it as much as I do and has driven there herself too.

As for the GT4, my thoughts compared to my GTS are in another thread. Basically I liked the handling but I wasn't keen on the engine.

Easy solution to this for me - i used to wait till there is temp, but now take advantage of the lack of rear grip and have some low speed fun. Can't wait for a bit of rain, should save a bit of rubber!
I notice this on big boring runs when you come off a some thing like the A14 and then hit round abouts, you get a barrel load of understeer.

On a focused run you can get heat into the Cup's quite easy and the car comes to you.

It's A minor issue but PS4S would be better fit on the GT4 for 70% of the owners and for all of us though winter.

Still loving mine when I get the chance to use it, which is not much I am sorry I say.
But had shims put in the front and the camber maxed out on the standard set up, plus the ARB set up all done at center gravity and what a difference that made and well worth getting done to Get rid off that nasty understeer.
Great car and one I can't see myself selling for some years as it does all that I need from a car these days and puts a big smile on my face, only thing I could see that might make it better is a few Bolt on engine bits to realise that hidden power

To be fair the GT4 is over braked even with the standard disc set up, but I like the no brake dust or rusting bells/discs, plus they match the yellow stitching lol

Totally get that .
I had standard brakes and they were more than up to the job .
Never had any fade on track either

I had one of the first GT4s but ended up selling it without driving it due to a change in circumstances. Since then I've owned a few cars including a 991 GTS and 981 Spyder. Decided to get back into a GT4 as a toy for when I'm not dropping the kids off at school. It's such a usable everyday car. Doesn't sound as good as the Spyder but much more practical and has the handling edge. Went for black as it's parked up on the street and discreet for everyday use...

They are almost identical bar colour. Original order was guards red, full leather, sat nav, buckets, red stitching and seat belts. This one is black, full leather, sat nav, buckets and yellow stitching and seat belts!
