Been tinkering with the spec, and I’m thinking about losing the LED Lights - or is that a bad idea?
I’ve got the LED lights on my Boxster, they are great but then I live in a village with poor lighting so useful to be able to light the way ahead so completely. However they aren’t cheap and you may find the bi-xenon okay if you don’t do much night driving on poorly lit roads.

Oh and they look cool! 😎

I’ve specced LEDs on mine, but actually not at all for the visibility: I just think the four point daytime running lights give the car so much more presence than the standard lights - makes it look like a little supercar.

Obviously they are expensive and non-essential, though!

That was exactly what i thought too, I liked the 4 led daytime running lights. But today, I’ve found out they’re actually standard on the other lights too - the 4 dots are on the outside of the main lamp.

Yes you’re right - the difference is that the LED option makes the points bigger and spaced out on the edge of the frame itself.

That’s the best picture I’ve seen of the standard ones, though, and definitely makes me wonder if it’s £1,400 well spent...

It’s personal preference but for me the LED’s looked like clear lego bricks and clashed with the lines of the cars for me. Opted for Black PDSL which were a ridiculous £400 extra over standard PDSL but matched all the rest of the black trim on my car.

You’re car looks awesome, it’s now making me have second thoughts over the Graphite Blue I’d been set on though!

Don’t suppose you know the black PDSL are what’s standard on the GTS? If so, I think I’ll be getting those!

This is mine on collection day, not sure if you can see the lights all that well but it may help.

Yeah I think the LEDs are really smart.

Judging by the configurator, you still have to pay £900+ on top of the GTS price to get the close-together four point daytime running lights, so in the context of spending that much, the stretch to £1,397 seems less painful...

Amazing what you can justify to yourself with the configurator open!

Those aren't the standard lights (in the UK at least, not sure elsewhere). They are the bi-xenon PDSL option. The standard lights don't have the 4 dots and look like this. Also worth noting, that they aren't as bright and do not self level, hence not requiring the legal requirement of a washer.

The balloon payments were released to OPC's earlier today. I was discussing with my OPC this afternoon. Interest rateshave improved but still too high in my opinion when compared with BMW

Ah interesting, I’ll have to badger mine tomorrow. Is the rate 5.9%?

Apologies, I mean personal finance. I wouldn’t touch Porsche finance with a stty stick, they offer a discount on your purchase if you finance for a reason..... ker ching..

I do love it though, really can’t wait.. As soon as I get it I want to do the North 500 it will be our honeymoon..

I think that black is very cool!

My configuration is here (very similar to the press cars):
