Hopefully pictures attached. Mine was completed on 24 Jan so should be with me in couple of weeks. I agree with views above that roll over bars look better painted. As you see I have not gone for GTS interior - didn't want a black interior so had little choice really. I have changed the interior door/dash trim to black aluminium to match steering wheel (silver is still shown in photo)

Whilst I was always going to go for the Cayman, I hope I don't regret going for Crayon over Graphite Blue.Yours looks great.
Thank you. I also considered Crayon which is a nice colour and also Miami Blue which I liked a lot but my friends reckoned it was a bit " boy racer" for a man of my advancing years (65)Tony 1234 said:

Hi guys, here's mine.
My dealer friend did the spec but see below images:
PDK
Jet Black
GTS Interior
Lower suspension
LEDs
Camera
Pros:
Think it looks absolutely fabulous
Interior very nice place to be
Driving position is spot on
Traction/general poise and handling (although weather has been crap) is very encouraging so far
Cons:
Still not sure on the noise
Potentially a lot of money for a Boxster? (I would have taken a couple of trinkets off - heated wheel, light design and alcantara sunvisors as she isn't a long term car)
Going to be difficult to part with this one though!

Hey all,
Ordering done, now the boring bit… Structuring my finance. Asset manager has put the 4 year residual at £39k which is a tad high for my liking. Will ask for him to reduce it.
Out of curiosity what has OPC quoted on 4 years for people? I appreciate this may vary from person to person, however, a rough estimate would be nice. I'm tempted to lower it to £37k for 5-6k miles per anum. Thoughts?
TIA

I was given a resudual of £34651 on a Boxster GTS back in November on a four year lease. 5k miles per annum . Invoice price of the car £70k . APR of 7.5 put me off though so I' ll be going the cash route. Out of interest why would you want a lower residual? This will increase your monthly payments and could mean a lower trade in offer when the time comes.Ordering done, now the boring bit… Structuring my finance. OPCs are Audi finance who brought in rules for TCF (treating customers fairly) that say the numbers are supposed to be structured in such a way as to leave the client with enough equity for a future deposit at the end of the term. Obviously the initial deposit is a factor in this, but not sure how rigidly the guys stick to the fair play rules or what flexibility is available.
My used 2014 981GTS GFV was low twenties so much so in fact, that the salesman said that if it was worth even close to that after 4 years, he’d buy it off me himself. So I guess the TCF rules must be being followed.

Why on earth would it affect trade in value???WG said:

Whilst the cash route is the cheapest I prefer using finance wherever I can. OPC finance is steep, albeit not as steep as others, and almost made me reconsider my purchase. Clydesdale Bank offer 4%APR (3.75% flat) for private banking customers. Similarly, Halifax offered me 3.6%APR on a PCP, although they only go up to £60k loan. Ultimately, I try to leave as much capital as I can in my company and use this to expand, essentially offsetting PCP interest rates against company growth. In short, cash purchases are a rich mans luxury I don't want massively less for residuals, however, I do want to set it appropriately so I max the amount of equity I pull out. It also means I pay slightly less interest. Rightfully as you've mentioned I could be offered a lower trade in value and thus OPC eat away at any equity I've accumulated. At this point if my OPC take the piss with their trade in offer I'll have to shop around or just pay the finance off allowing me to negotiate prices from a stronger position.
Ps. I've created a PCP Calculator, gets fairly close to actual figures. Anyone can use if comparing deals etc. My PCP Cal

Private banking, so figures can be manipulated (within reason), was curious to know what OPC GFVs were so I could follow suit without paying the higher APR.OPCs are Audi finance who brought in rules for TCF (treating customers fairly) that say the numbers are supposed to be structured in such a way as to leave the client with enough equity for a future deposit at the end of the term. Still got the 981? I'll give you low 20s for it :P
