Just stumbled across these pics of a GT Silver Cayman GTS from the US

Not sure if it's the pictures but the colour really seems to change in different lights
My daily is GT Silver and looks about the same at the front.

My Guards red GTS . I didn’t like the black wheels so had to be satin platinum!

Did you have to pay extra for the non-black wheels?

Car looks lovely in Guards Red

GT Silver does look very different in different light conditions. It's one of the things that makes it such a special colour. In lower light it's a really deep rich silver, almost grey. It's very unlike any other silver out there.

Great looking cars guys!

Had my friendly body shop paint my keys - one body colour and one Carmine Red to match the interior.

Great run out in the new car in the sunshine today with my mate in his GT3
Roof down, heated seats on and heater on full blast felt amazing

My Cayman GTS is due 9/03 - will be longest month ever! Will continue to use my 997 Turbo daily until it arrives.

FOC for me but I'd assume you'd pay between £50 and £75 as a guess.

Cut off date for final spec is fast approaching, but after seeing si-3po Crayon I'm now having second thoughts about Graphite blue and thinking about maybe flipping my Graphite BGTS order to a Crayon BGTS :/

Graphite looks like undercoat to me. I prefer crayon. But I'm having Guards anyway as I don't really like paying for paint!

Graphite Blue and Crayon are my favourite colours. I’ve seen Si-3P0’s car in the metal and it does look awesome. Graphic Blue works well with the matching interior IMO, so I went with this combo, Crayon became available after I specced it.

Agree with that Pinball, if you want the best looking interior you need to spec Graphite on the exterior smile

My spec is about to get locked down.

I am going for carmine red, but changing the satin wheels to Carrera Sport wheels in jet black metallic.

So far I haven't specced "Rear side air intake grilles painted" in jet black, and nor have I gone for the exterior pack painted black (as I think the additional body-coloured part on the back, in red, looks like too big a bum!).

Do people think that not painting the side and/or not doing the exterior pack will look silly with the jet black (rather than satin) wheels?

Any pictures people have would be much appreciated - but thinking it's an easy way to 'save' £800+
